I love the food here! Great chicken salad and several healthy options. They even have the option of gluten free bread for their sandwiches. The ladies that work here are so sweet! Very cute and cozy.

A Cuban sandwich does NOT have mayonnaise on it. I have had at least two places in Kingsport try this. The only sauce condiment should be mustard. And if you must put mayo on it, at least keep it to a minimum. The only thing I could taste on this sandwich was mayo.

I’ve been here a couple of times so far and everything I’ve ordered has been excellent. The chicken salad is really good. The food has been very fresh both times. I like the little muffin that comes with the salad. I recommend you stop by and try this place!

The food and atmosphere are nice. The service is good. I do think the menu is a little limited (particularly the salads), though there are some fun items. I never saw where they list their coffees/espresso beverages which is too bad because the vanilla chia I had was out of this world.
The real shining star of this place though is the cake. My stars! The cakes sound so unassuming and you may be tempted to skip, but they were ridiculously good! Impossibly rich and downright decedent. Will be back.

Nice little place, great food and friendly people in a cool area. I had Kitchen Sink salad, I'd give it a 10! My son had a grilled chicken asiago and it was also a 10. I also had a chicken salad croissant and it was good, they claim it's maybe the best, but still a step below mom's. Wife had a quiche and we both thought it was just ok.

I adore this restaurant. Great food. Smaller (actually reasonable) portions so I never leave hungry but also never miserable. I like the ambiance of the cafe. It can get really busy around lunch time but I am just glad they're getting the business. My only complaint would be that the windows looking in are so dark I am never sure if they are open and I don't know what their hours are.

Great food. I love the restaurant. Parkings not so easy. Expect a wait cause they are busy!

Went to the mustard seed today for the first time; it was delicious. I ordered the Reuben combo, with a salad with strawberry dressing. The Reuben was really good, a ton of corned beef (I’m not a fan of a lot of meat so I myself pulled it off) but a meat lover would enjoy. The salad dressing was also amazing. I would highly recommend this little cafe.

Phenomenal experience. The tea (I got peach and my wife got blackberry) was very very good, I ordered the tomato basil soup and a smoked turkey and provolone panini and my wife ordered the tomato pie and a salad. The food was exceptional.

With the great experience we had, we will most definitely be going back.

Great sandwiches and soup. Nice touch with the mini desert cake. We will be transformed into regulars for sure! The Chai tea was the best I have had in the Tri-Cities. The sourdough toast was perfectly buttered and toasted which added great texture and mouth feel to the sandwich. The soup wasn't too thick like most. It had that perfect bisque consistency that is usually fallen short most places. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. We took our ever lovin' time enjoying every minute of it. Thank You Mustard Seed for the great service and wonderful food. See you next time!!
