Oh my goodness my chicken salad croissant was so good. The brocolli cheese soup was absolutely delicious. My husband got the chili and it was the best either of us has ever had. Did not need crackers at all. My iced tea was so refreshing and wonderful. It appears that they use a small muffin like a garnish on all the plates. Eat the muffin it is amazingly yummy. The decor was so fun. Love this place we will definately be back and will bring friends with us. So so very good

I got the club sandwhich, pasta salad, and a scoop of chicken salad. All three were phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. I've always heard of the "mustard seed" but I have never tried it. Being a resident of Kingsport for 38 years I can firmly say you should try this place out. Definitely a great lunch spot. There was plenty of seating and the place was clean. The bathroom was also clean.

Ordered the quiche, baked potato soup, grilled cheese, and tomato soup.
Quiche was absolutely delicious. Flaky crust with warm bacon and cheesy inside. Tomato soup was a bit on the peppery side but overall good spot downtown

Had an amazing meal with my daughter here on our way across country. Very cute decor. Give them a visit. We had some awesome quiche and salads. Service was even better!

seated quickly for lunch on a friday. hot sandwiches and soup, and a fantastic tomato pie quiche. reminds me of a local “panera” style location and the servers were very nice. the menu has too much bacon all around but just be mindful of that!

My family and I absolutely love The Mustard Seed! We always receive great service and the food amazing! I have a go-to, myself. It is the Veggie Reuben with a side Caesar Salad. I tend to go for the Dirty Chais, too! Always a delightful experience - so cute and quaint.
Thank you for always taking care of our family on Mondays! :)

Looking for coffee while passing through town and saw the name which reminded me of my grandmother. I had an iced coffee which hit the spot! I also picked up some locally roasted bourbon pecan coffee beans to take home. I wished I hadn't had lunch already because the menu and the food coming out of the kitchen looked high quality and delicious! I'm going to make it a point to eat here next time. Downtown Kingsport is awesome!

We waited 20 minutes for a person to ask us what we wanted to drink, even though there were only two other patrons in the cafe with us. While finishing my food, I was not so delighted to hear a female member of the staff start talking about news she heard regarding a persons dead body found rotting in a basement, and puppies being found dead in a trash bag, how appetizing. I am disappointed and I will likely not return to this establishment. The food was sub-par.

I love this place! The staff is so friendly you feel like family. The reuben was soooo delicious and as someone from NY , I definitely approve. I went there 2 days in a row for lunch and this is a must-go everytime I'm in Kingsport. The quiche also adds such a different touch because it's not served many places-- especially paired with a ton of options for sandwiches, dessert, and coffee. I think the portions for under $15 are more than worth it. Spectacular place !
