Madeleine - French Bakery

Walked in for some pastries as i walked in the place looked very cute and clean. But this is not why I’m giving it a one star review i was greeted by a young lady potentially in her teens or early 20s and i asked about some of the pastries i choose the two i wanted and when she was ringing me up she ask her fellow employees how much was a pastry i got and weather it was the owners or the managers of the cafe basically yelled at her to walk from behind the register all the way to the front of the cafe to look at the price rather than just tell her. It was more rude of her to walk away and get a price while a customer is at the register. It wasn’t the girls fault at all she looked like she was a new employee and just needed some time to get some prices straight . Then while I’m paying there’s a group of ladies who walk in waiting fro a a table it hasn’t even been 15 seconds and the manager again is being very rude to another employee saying hurry up and give them the menus. I’m sorry I’m human and i understand being new employee but what’s worse is rude owners or managers where the customers can see that. Professionalism is taking your employee to the back and telling them what they did wrong and correcting them. Not doing it on the Spot rudely at that in front of paying customers. For that i give this place 1 star please treat your employees better good help is hard to find.

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant Sunday breakfast here. The food was very good. However, when I'm dining in-and not just picking up something to go-I would prefer that the coffee not be served in a paper to-go cup. How about some nice mugs to go along with the plates that the food is served on.
All in all, a very cute little place that we will visit again.

Pretty bummed that I can’t order the macaroons using DoorDash. I’d be a regular customer!

I went to Wilma Rudolph location today with 10 of my girlfriends for lunch. Being a small location with this large of a crowd, we expected it to take a while but it didn't. The staff was fast, friendly and the food was amazing. I took a piece of cheesecake to go and had to stop by after work to purchase another piece for home. It was absolutely the most heavenly cheesecake I have EVER put in my mouth. I had the French onion soup and chicken salad for lunch and they were both nothing short of fantastic. If you haven't visited this little jewel, you're missing out. The adorable French decor makes the environment perfect. I have truly found my new favorite local bistro.

Authentic, hearty and delightful French inspired brunch. Made from scratch casserole, ratatouille, Madeleines, fresh macaroons and wonderful meringues. The staff were exceptional and friendly. We've visited France in the past and the food was just the same as we had over there. The charming and quaint cafe was the perfect location to enjoy a Sunday brunch. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts! We will definitely return to Madeleine!

The food was incredible! I got the croque madame which was delicious. The owner is a nice french man that is very involved in making sure everything is to your liking. I was there for about an hour or so and saw him go to every single table and check on the food and the experience. He came around and gave a rose to all the women there. The desserts are picturesque and tasty. It's definitely my new favorite breakfast spot.

Nice place. Bought the fruit tarts and they were excellent. Plan on trying some other things.

One thing. If they are slightly busy you will feel claustrophobic as the place is small and hard to maneuver.

I do recommend Madeleine as the food was awesome and the place itself is something downtown Clarksville should be proud to have.

Such a unique and special place. I loved the atmosphere and the warmth shown me by the owners and other employees.

I had a chocolate croissant and macchiato and they were both excellent.

There's just something special about going into a place and know you are getting something that is quality. There was an atmosphere of excellence and exceptional care here.

I'm grateful to have the privilege to experience this place and meet these people.
(And to try that croissant!)

This place is great. I love the strawberry and sweet cream crepes but everything we've tried was delicious! My mom and I were here for mother's day and this place was so busy but the whole staff was friendly and got the food and coffees out quickly and without a hitch. Delicious food!!
