I'm sure the food is great when it's cooked properly, but unfortunately the 7 crepes we were served all tasted like they were drenched in salt water. We let the business know and the employee was apologetic and offered us a refund. Unfortunately we ordered to go and had already made the trip home, so we had to drive back to the store to return the food for a refund.
When we arrived, the employee had to call their manager to initiate the refund since the employee didn't have the authorization to do so. Once the manager arrived, she did not acknowledge our presence nor did she seem to care that we were served inedible food. She simply held her hand for our receipt, initiated the refund, and left us in silence.
They said that one of the employees responsible for preparing the crepe batter mixed up the sugar for salt, which for a bakery establishment is a very grave mistake. Regardless, even the banana of my chocolate banana crepe tasted like ocean water so this establishment needs to get their recipes and/or employees in order. This would've have been a 2 star review had the manager been a little more sympathetic with our case, but she came across as rude and apathetic which really rubbed in the salt in our wounded bellies.

Very pleasant and clean. The menu was simple, precise and portable. (Nice to have a take home menu) First visit had Quiche Lorraine and side of Ratatouille. Next visit I will have French Onion Soup and Nicoise Salad. Lots of beautiful desserts that looked tempting even to this non-sugar-eater.

Love this cute French bakery. Just discovered about a month ago and I am in love with 'The Farmhouse' sandwich. We also love the selection and variety of treats to choose from too. Haven't tried the ice cream but it always looks decadent. Can't wait to return.

Well I went to try the eclair's and I was surprisingly disappointed. Don't get me wrong when presented it looks beautiful in all of it's pastry cream glory, definitely something you want to devour however, the pastry was dry and hard in the ends I tried the chocolate and the berry eclair's I probably go back one more time just to see if maybe someone was just having a bad day.

Disappointing. Very warm inside on an August afternoon. Half eaten sandwiches in the tables. Coke fountain was out of ice and cashier seemed put out that it was brought to her attention. No Diet Coke syrup left in the machine but at that point we had given up on it being a nice experience. Crepes were good.

Madelines is the place I always go to pick up a little treat for the office. They have a nice rotation of goodies and I can always find something small and perfect for a birthday. The Farmhouse has recently become one of my favorite foods downtown- the apple butter on it is to die for. Def worth checking this place out for a nice lunch.

Wow! The service was great, the owner, Eric, was a gracious host, and the food was delicious. Both the croque madame and the nicoise salad were fantastic. Delicious desserts as well. We'll be going back since there were too many to try in one sitting!

Amazing gem in downtown Clarksville! The macrons are perfect and crepes are delicious! Especially the savory crepe with ratatouille! One of my favorite spots for breakfast and lunch.

This is a delightful little bakery and cafe. I know they had a menu to order actual entrees and be able to eat inside, but I didn’t come for the entrees. Let’s be honest, we all come for the dessert. Life is short; eat dessert first.

If you're looking to enjoy a well-made and filling sandwich or seeking pastries or cakes made in the French style using only fresh ingredients, this is definitely the place for you! The staff is very friendly, the prices quite fair for the quality of the food and desserts, and you get to enjoy a taste of France here in Clarksville. I personally recommend the Turkey Club sandwich and a nice hazelnut eclair - and don't forget to leave a tip. They deserve it - and if you can, spread the word of this place!
