Jacob's is a sweet gem in Deadwood! The sophisticated rustic decor is on point. The cocktails are fantastic! The food was solid. I ordered the Buck Yeah with very high expectations. Sounded so good but fell a little short for me. Food was very good. Just not the best I've ever had. The only reason for the 4 stars. Everything else was wonderful.

I ended up eating both of my dinners in Deadwood at Jacob’s. Portions seemed small at first, but everything hit the spot without being too heavy. Kaylee was a wonderful bartender and made me feel like I could just chill and enjoy my meal and time. She was knowledgeable about the menu, and made great suggestions of things to see and try in town. After just 2 visits I felt like I’d been a regular here for a long time. The friendly atmosphere made it easy to talk to other guests and feel right at home. Also got to experience a kitchen cook off challenge they have during slower months. This was not only fun, but made for a wonderful meal. I can’t wait to take another trip to Deadwood to go get some more great food!

This was our first time to visit Jacob's. It's a nice, clean establishment and service was quick and friendly. My partner and I shared the tots with bacon for a starter. They came hot and freshly made. The melted cheese curds on top was gooey and tasty. The onion gravy complemented the whole dish very well and there was plenty of bacon on top. Next we shared the buffalo sausage sandwich. The sausage was smoky but not overly so. It has a great texture and flavor, it works very well for a sandwich. All in all we had a very good meal and recommend it!

Walked through this beautiful town and stopped to enjoy a burger and beer. We had our dog with us, she was welcomed by all, there is even a menu to accommodate her! Scott's paintings, pictures and guitars are a rare addition to the warm atmosphere. Burgers were excellent and reasonably priced. Mexican lager balanced, smooth flavor with a clean citris finish. Burgers were so yummy I forgot a picture.

A very nice setting. Great service & tasty food. We thought everything was very good. 4 stars, because we felt the portions were small for the price.

Decent lunch or dinner spot with pretty solid food and drink options. Not right on the strip so it didn't feel as touristy... which I liked. Charcuterie board was awesome.

The fish and chips is disgusting. I wouldn't even go as far as calling it beer battered at all, because it's not. 20 bucks for 4 tiny little pieces and some fries. Not worth the money. Enough tartar sauce couldn't even get me past how gross it was. Worst fish and chips ever. Everyone else liked their food, except one order was messed up and they just ate it anyway. Very little options on the menu. I would go elsewhere.

Dog friendly, clean, affordable and great hospitality.

This place is neat, both in the eclectic and cleanliness sense. They have guitars and pictures of famous musician visitors all over the wall. The style is iron-and-wood industrial with a tall black ceiling and many lights for a nice and balanced atmospheric lumination.

They accommodated our party of over 20 with short notice and not long after we sat down, the owner, Scott came and brought a dish of water for the dogs.

The food is reasonably affordable (most dishes under $20) and the quality was solid. The only thing I was slightly disappointed by was the small amount of chips and salsa for $10 with no refills, but all in all our party was happy with the experience. There is a cool lil gift shop and bar attached. Definitely recommend this place.

Potato soup was very good. The walleye was well prepared but the homemade tarter sause was more onion sauce. Wished I would have been told about the option to eat in the tasting room. I would have liked to have my flight with my lunch.

I feel this is the best place to eat in Deadwood. Burgers are excellent as is the salads. Service is fast and friendly with a great old western feel. Many of famous folks have stopped by to see this place and to have a bite to eat. If you miss this place on a visit to Deadwood you have missed a Gem!
