I was seated promptly, and the food also came out very quickly. I stopped by around 2 pm, so it was nice as the restaurant wasn't too busy or loud. The restaurant gets quite loud at dinner time, so this was very nice.The vegetables were a little firm which is fine because that's how I prefer them. Lots of variety with red pepper, yellow zucchini, broccoli, and green beans.I stopped by the Lone Star in Barrie today for lunch.

My partner is vegan...the choices are extensive, clever & priced reasonably...tantalizingly calling out from the menu. We drove a good distance for our 1st time experience...the food & friendly staff easily overcame that drive. We'll be back frequently.

FYI - Went by today and it is closed with padlock in the front door. Not sure if it’s temporary.

Love Gathering Cafe! They have tofu AND tempeh AND vegan options at breakfast/brunch. So great for the vegan not trying to go downtown to eat all the time! It's a great location with lots of parking, and everyone there is super friendly. 10/10 highly recommend :)

I don't hand out 5 stars often, but this place deserves it.

I wanted fresh, lovingly made food, and I found it here. Simple but wonderfully prepared dishes served in light portions to help me to not overindulge.

Delicious food. Had some nice veggie/vegan options too. Looks very nice and cozy on the inside. Don't let the outside fool you.

Went here based on reviews to have a healthy alternative, celebrating my husband's birthday. The food was so bad I wanted to cry. We wasted 30 dollars on burnt, greasy food that I could have cooked better at home. Server didn't even ask us how the food was even though we left most of the food on the plates. We are at a total loss. Go to Verde if you want healthy and more reasonable prices. Thank you for making my husband's birthday so special.

Based on reviews I came here expecting good food and service. They failed on both. The server didn't even ask us how our food was and we had to keep calling her back to the table when we were trying to ask questions about the menus. My fife got the 3 veggie plate. The sweet potato and cauliflower were burned and the spaghetti squash was sitting in grease. I had a Teriyaki bowl with shrimp. The shrimp was tasteless and the bowl was watered down. We didn't even eat half the food and left hungry.

FANTASTIC! I’m not normally one to leave reviews however want to say how terrific the food & service I received was. All too often, food is underseasoned at many of the fine restaurants I have patroned. Each & every side is bursting with flavor, and both the chicken & salmon melted in my mouth! Wish I knew the name of the young lady who helped us, but she was certainly on top of everything, and my tea was never empty. It was so good that I returned 2 days later for take out. The only suggestion would be to package the sides for take out individually so they don’t become a crazy mixture.

My husband and I enjoyed the avocado toast on gf bread and we both had thr vegetarian hash. Best breakfast we've had out in years! So flavorful! Would highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be returning. Thank you Gabe for such a pleasant experience.
