The Gathering

Surprisingly good with nice fresh veggies, ordered four plates today. (1)The green goddess bowl was my fav, served warm, with a very nice balanced flavor. (2)Teriyaki bowl with chicken was tasty, if a tiny bit salty (still less salty than all the local hibachi places), the mushrooms were the best part. (3)The avocado toast had fresh tomatoes and a lot of capers. (4)The steak wrap was served cold, the horseradish was good, it came with soup or salad (tomato soup pictured). All and all we would visit again. It was a bit pricey, as the proteins are an add-on to the bowls, but worth it for the fresh veggies and general good quality/flavor. The indoor seating was a bit stuffy today in the cooler rainy weather since the AC was not running and they did not have any fans.

The Gathering in Summerville, South Carolina was a delicious experience. The food was wonderful and I look forward to going there again.

This has the feel of a coffee house, but a large eclectic food menu with something for everyone. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, carnivores--it's got it all. All that said, my Buddha Bowl was really good. It came with a lemon tahini sauce that was so delicious. It's also worth mentioning that the staff here is VERY accommodating with custom order/substitutions on their menu.

Oh, and as a side note, the ice machine at the drink center serves chewable ice!

I thought the food was really tasty here. I got the Buddha Bowl after the person at the register said the bowls were good. I got salmon as the protein. I ate a couple of bite before I remembered to take pictures. The person eating with me got the Panang curry with tofu and it was also good. The Gathering Cafe seems similar to CAVA, which is also a good health food restaurant.

As soon as I took my first bite I knew instantly that the food was prepared with love and care. It tasted as if it was homemade. Incredible!

I’m so excited to find this restaurant. It checks all the boxes for vegan entrees, care taken for allergies when preparing food, sustainable practices and a friendly clean happy environment. They have wonderful, delicious options for everyone. I’m with my non vegan boyfriend and he’s very pleased with his entree. I ordered the curry and he ordered the green goddess. Both were very delicious. I am going to get the tiramisu to go. Never had it buts it’s vegan as well. They offer beer on tap and mimosas for breakfast. I would highly recommend stopping in if you are in the Charleston area. It’s well worth the trip. I was served by Jason who was very kind and knowledgeable. They offer online take out for those needing a quick meal. Check it out.

Incredible. So upset I didn’t come here earlier. Healthy reimagined dishes, great menu items, good flavors, nice portions. Counter service casual. Reward points are fun because I’ll be here all the time.

Delicious! Hands down, the best food in Summerville! Beer, wine, plus food that makes you feel good! Highly recommended!

The BEST gluten free food I’ve ever had!! As someone with celiac, it was such a joy to have so many options to choose from and everything was cooked to perfection. This was the first time I’ve ever had mac and cheese at a restaurant and it was SUPERB.

Summerville needed a place like this!

Finally feels like I have a place to go when I'm trying to be more health conscious.

The tomato soup tasted like it was just out of their garden. The wrap was a bit dry and could have used a bit more sauce. The sante Fe bowl was super flavorful but that shrimp were overcooked.

First time here and I'm definitely going to be back.
