The Sunrise Bistro is a great place for breakfast/brunch. And the self serve coffee bar is an added bonus.

This place has now become one of my favorites. Service was prompt and always with a smile. We were greeted promptly at the door and by every person who passed the host stand to ensure that we were being helped. We were seated in a cozy table in a corner. The tables are perfectly spaced apart, so our 3 year old was able to run laps around our table to entertain herself. Mia, our server was amazing. She helped guide us through the menu and pointed out the coffee which is the best idea ever! They have various flavored coffee and a regular plain as well if you feel less adventurous. The portions were perfectly sized, and each entree can fill you up easily.
All in all, it was a great experience. We cannot wait to come back again soon.

Food was fine for what it was. Service was slow, but the server apologized and said they were short staffed and we understood. What I was floored by was the check and it wasn't the price of the meal. First, I didn't realize Summerville had a sales tax rate of 10%. Second, why was I charged $1.90 for a service fee? Third, why do I have to pay $3.50 to use my debit card at a big restaurant? The food wasn't worth the surprise fees for me.

They have a good range of items to pick off the menu. The food I got was just overly greasy for my taste, but the person I went with enjoyed her food much more than I did. Waiter was a bit rude at times, but overall it wasn’t bad. Could see that this is the local hole in the wall everyone in the area goes to. I also liked that you can choose from multiple different types of coffee.

First visit was on the 12th of July, Sunday. My experience was delightfully delicious. I will be returning.

Today I hope was just an off day. We arrived at 11:55 am. 25 mins into the service we are explained too thet they were out of romaine lettuce wnd only can find spinach. 3 of the 6 of us ordered salads. 2 with proteins. When the salads came....no proteins came. We were offered the meal comped that was switched for one of the salads. In the middle of the grits....cubed chunks of large pieces of potato. Odd.

Came in yesterday for the first time. Heard good things and Google Maps told us it was less busy than usual. And have the bestie from Detroit wanting to get some great southern breakfast.
Arrived and was seated almost immediately by who I presumed to be the manager or owner. The decor at the front of the restaurant was nice. Once we got to the table we waited a bit to have our drink order taken. Our waitress was awkward and seemed confused right from the start. We ordered a breakfast pizza as an appetizer. It’s was good. We had to wait a bit to take our orders because everyone were ready and then found out they do not serve sausage links, only patty. We have our order and waited about 20-25 mins for it to be brought out, not to bad.
The waitress was absolutely ABSENT during that time. We ran out of tea twice and had to ask two different people for refills. My boyfriend disliked the biscuits and gravy so he had them taken back but still offered to pay for them because he did order them, the restaurant took them off the bill.
My friend ordered a Cesar style wrap, no Cesar add ranch since you do not serve links. It was covered in Cesar even though our waitress wrote it down AND repeated it to us.
I ordered the classic breakfast and my scrambled eggs must have been bad because I gave them to my boyfriend to eat as he sent his breakfast back and he got so sick last night!! It smelled just like rotten eggs!!!
Our waitress acted like she didn’t care, and after we sent the biscuits and gravy back the manager looked pissed off so we didn’t want to bother him. Honestly, if someone doesn’t like your food, you shouldn’t get so offended. I tasted the biscuits and gravy too and it did not taste good.
The grits were pretty good though.
