The breakfast is always very good and various choices not usually seen in affordable restaurants make a trip to the Sunrise worth the time. The coffee bar is a big plus. My wife's brother and his wife visited us from San Diego. They wanted to try off the beaten path places, Voila, Sunrise Bistro. Shrimp and grits was the obvious choice. It was great as usual and a big hit with our West Coast relatives. Even though employees were in short supply the service couldn't have been better.

This was our first time there. I got french toast, and my daughter had a waffle. Both were very good! Our waitress was great! My daughter even commented how nice she was and loved the atmosphere. We'll definitely be going back!

The hubby and I went recently to Sunrise Bistro in Summerville, SC. At first we were skeptical about going because we had never been. We decided to eat there. I am glad that we did go the customer service and food were great. I had the Shrimp and Grits which were amazing and my hubby had the country fried steak both delicious. They also give you great portions of good. We will be returning.

I have been to this place twice and both times it has been amazing. The staff is kind and friendly. The food is the awesome. I would highly recommend the shrimp and grits. They are the best!

I'm so happy we decided to come here, while visiting my family. I was SUPER EXCITED to see that they had FLAVORED coffee. I LOVE flavored coffee and not the flavored creamers so this was the BEST THING EVER!!! I actually purchased 2 bags of coffee, Amaretto & caramel macchiato!!
Then they had OPEN FACED omelets, which I also was delighted because I'm not a big fan of regular omelets when the egg is flipped and can be dry.
I got the western omelet.. it was delicious and HUGE!!
They have homemade herb bread that was toasty and amazing as well.
I want to talk to the owner because it's like he read my mind with all these uniquely prepared foods.
I will definitely be coming back next time we visit.
So needless to say I surely recommend Sunrise Bistro in Summerville

First impressions are always important, they set the tone. While the building Sunset Bistro is in may have a few years on her the caretaking is obvious, clean exterior and parking, immaculate interior. A ready selection of serve yourself coffee makes it feel like home! The menu has a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items! I went with the country fried steak breakfast, with over easy eggs, potatoes and biscuit. The food arrived hot ( the potatoes were plated a bit too early, but they were still warm ) the eggs were cooked properly with a perfectly runny yolk and no white. The biscuit was a star all on its own, likewise the potatoes had been given proper attention with the addition of peppers and onion. It's important to note as well the sausage gravy was delicious, no extra grease, and perfect on the salt. Some of the best I've had in the entire Charleston area! The country fried steak was exactly what you'd expect, tender, flavorful, again balanced on seasoning and salt. I worried the salt of the gravy combined with the country fried steak would be too much, glad to say I worried unnecessarily. I'm looking forward to a return trip to Sunrise to give a review of future meals!

My first time here and it was amazing. The food was on point and the service was great. She had a wonderful smile and her boyfriend is a 49ers fan also which is a plus. (Lol) but she did a great job and we will be back very soon. When we do I hope we get her again. I am sorry we forgot her name. She told us she was new but she did a great job. Thank you.

This is easily my favorite breakfast place these days. It's less pancakes and syrup, more hollandaise and interesting new combinations. Kinda hidden away but easy to reach. The coffee bar - 6 different brews, self-service - is worth writing home about.

The shrimp and grits here are very good - several options for extras, and I've never been disappointed. My wife enjoys the eggs Benedict. The self serve coffee bar means you never have to wait for a refill.

Today, 12th of April 2024, my fiancé and I went for breakfast for my birthday. We were seated by the hostess (I think). We waited for a waitress to acknowledge us for 30 minutes. A group of 6 got seated and the waitress immediately went to their table. It was not busy when we walked in, only 3 tables were occupied. After asking my fiancé if we were invisible, we left. We went to Eva's on Main. The food at Eva's was AMAZING. So thank you to the rude waitress who refused to serve us because we wouldn't have went to Eva's on Main and ate great Farm to Table food!
