When I visit Sunrise Bistro I end up with 2 entrees… I don’t know why. We’ve visited twice and get the Fried Green Tomatoes both times. Everything is good but not quite for everyone, my wife loves traditional breakfast, but Sunrise for her is a little over the top. I’ve had one of their variations of Shrimp and grits and liked it. The portions are big even for this big eater. So if you like large portions and a different take on breakfast, give them a shot.

We dined at Sunrise Bistro on Saturday and the food was absolutely amazing. Now service, that was a different story. Our server wasn't friendly nor great. I wish I knew her name to warn future customers but she never told us. Either way, the food was so good we came back today (Sunday) and just our luck, we got sat in her section again. When she came to the table, there was no "hello, my name is _____" or anything. We got "y'all ready?" She literally took our order and checked on us once after our food came (brought by someone else). It's like she was nowhere to be found. Thankfully Valentino saw us looking and so graciously helped us. He brought our to-go drinks and check. All our server did was come grab it to run the bill. Her service on today was even worse than it was yesterday. All in all, I will be returning but if they sit me in her section again, I'll request to be moved.

I was not sure how to feel about this place. The service was great but I wasn’t impressed with food. I thought the place was busy but clean, it was well lit with a bright atmosphere and had a good amount of space. I was with my friends and their two small children which posed no problem. My waiter I think was new as he didn’t know many questions I asked. This didn’t bother me as he was prompt at finding the answers and very polite with friendly, quick service. However, other servers interrupted him several times with request which I found very odd (which also suggested he might be new to at least serving). For my meal I wanted the side of potatoes (which was to to be Cajun with onions and peppers), a poached egg and a side of hollandaise sauce . The first thing I found out is they will not poach an egg, they won’t do it as a side or for the Benedict’s on menu, it is on sunny side eggs only. So I agreed to this, I was disappointed in what I received. While my dish was very large the food just was meh. My potatoes were mostly potatoes with a few scattered onions, my egg was fine though not the style I craved and my sauce tasted as though it was not made in house. Now my friends had the shrimp and grits and the corned beef hash, both said they enjoyed their dinner. I loved that they had a mini breakfast sampler for the kids. Also we had mango mimosa which were absolutely delicious. I think that if I do make it back to this place I will aim to try something else as the food I had lacked flavor, but if you are looking for a large meal for a good price it did have that.

Things didn't start off the best with the hostess and the lack of respect and customer service can be detrimental to a business. Fortunately after speaking with the Manger and being paired with our awesome waiter things were up from there. Being someone the frequents a diverse share of cuisines, the three meat shrimp and grits definitely left me speechless. The perfect blend of Cajun seasoning on the shrimp, creaminess of the grits, and the perfect touch of heat emitting from the broth...um um. Hats off to the chef and our waiter, you definitely saved this culinary experience.

Hard to find a good place out here that doesn’t Over salt their food. This was was perfect! Everything was delicious and waiters are so friendly. Especially liked the coffee here!

Service was very slow, and the food was meh. My husband had the Eggs Benedict, which was okay. My son & I, however, had French Toast which, unfortunately, we didn't like at all. We like our French Toast soaked through in the egg batter so that it's moist in the middle. This was very dry in the middle, almost as if somehow only the outer part of the bread was dipped in the egg.
We used to dine here all the time, but stopped because the service was usually not very good. After a couple of years, we figured we'd try again. Wish I could say it was a better experience this time, but no such luck. Maybe we'll try again in another couple of years.

Neighborhood restaurant with a truly southern flair; definitely a meeting place for old friends. Found this place by accident and my wife after reading the menu can't waite to go back. Food was great. Buffalo chicken sandwiches were spicy and the waffles were light and fluffy. The country fried steak Benedict was very rich with Hollandaise sauce and sausage gravy. Sitting on a bed of greens with a perfect biscuit this meal was big enough for two. Friendly staff that always had a big smile helped put a smile on your face. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a nice surprise. Excellent food and awesome service by Joe! The coffee bar is a very nice concept to be able to try all the different blend of coffee they roast! (Crazy jamaican was my favorite)
Will be back!

Everything was so tasty! The Bistro Turkey is on an herbed rosemary bread that is flaky and fresh. The fries were so crispy and delicious. I was expecting average diner food, and was pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend had a side of grits that were also my favorite! Will definitely be back for more.

Was recommended this place a while back, very glad to have finally stopped in. There ended up being a police event on-site and I was happy to see them treating our law enforcement with such care. As for our food it was amazing, especially my veggie omelet. No scarcity of quality vegetables, the coffee was great “self serve” We will be back for sure.
