Really loved my experience here! The chef came out and greeted me and was so personable. The apple croissant that I had was absolutely delicious and the coffee was good too. All of the pastries were really pretty looking. I came here to work for a few hours, and had no issues with the Wi-Fi. I will definitely be back here!

I got to meet the husband and wife team who run Mado. What a wonderful and friendly couple. Even though they were busy, the husband took the time to introduce the business and explain who they are and what they do. They are from France and the wife is a French pastry chef. The latte was delicious and the marbré chocolat was very good. I can't wait to go back!

Kindest people and incredible pastries. We had the bacon quiche and apple turnover. Thank you so much for making a great start to our weekend!

I had an almond croissant and my wife had a chocolate croissant and latte. So very delicious and the owner and staff and friendly & welcoming. We have been here many times and will surely return.

We heard about this bakery from a news story they did about them! My husband went the next morning at opening and got us a few treats to share. Absolutely delicious!!!!!!! Can’t wait to go back

Mado is amazing! Their pastries are delicious and the coffee they make is my favorite!! The owners are so sweet and definitely make each visit enjoyable!

I’m skeptical to review because I want this place to stay a hidden gem. As I sit here covered in crumbs from my chocolate croissant, I would say the pastries are phenomenal. Their coffee and chai are equally wonderful, but nothing tops the service and kindness of the Parisian transplant owners.

I am French and know my pastries and viennoiseries very well. I used to live in Bordeaux and would get the best. Now that I am living in the Carolinas, I always try to find a bit of home where and when I can. Of course, people would say to try Amelie’s French bakery but I can honestly say to you that even if their pastries are good they are not authentic. When I found Mado bakery online and look at the pictures, I could already see that everything would taste exactly like the pastries that I’ll find in Bordeaux. And I was right, the macaroons are delicious, the best I have tested in the US and at the same level that the ones I used to eat back home. The choux pastries are unreal and show to me that the owners have the French savoir faire. If you want real authentic French « boulangerie » style pastries then you have to go there only. THE BEST!

I have been here twice and I love absolutely everything I have had. I've had a spiced Chai frappe, a iced spiced Chai, the vanilla latte was fantastic with no burnt coffee at all, and two chouquettes which were great. They were sweets that weren't overly sweet.

This is THE best bakery in the area. Definitely worth your time to not only visit but also have it be a part of your regular routine.
