The Side Deck - Gaming Café

We go there for the yu-gi-oh selection which is great! They recommend you reach out to them before you arrive if you have a long list of cards you want which is an awesome service. By far the best card store in the columbia area.

I travelled over an hour and a half to attend an X-wing tournament here. They made me feel very unwelcome by asking me to drop out of the event and leave before it was over. Apparently they had double booked events that evening and the other one was about to start. I guess they needed the space I was taking up more than they needed any good will from me.

Drove 6 hours to come to their event. They couldn't hold it for 5 minutes to accept my late registration. Especially for a ygo event, this is completely out of the norm and unacceptable. They obviously don't care about their customers.

As a person who missed playing yugioh, seeing a new place open up and have friendlier staff is a blessing. I had a conversation with half the staff and enjoyed it. Can't wait to be a regular

It does a little bit of everything--card games, board games, coffee bar, and event space--but it does all of those things well. The staff is friendly and attentive, and their reward system is generous. Well worth the drive!

I stopped by firefly games before this store. The experience was way better. Very polite, and professional. Took the time to show me product. Even worked out a trade. Will be coming back here for sure.

Great atmosphere, friendly people. They were cool with me sitting on one of their (very comfortable) couches to work on a personal gaming project for a few hours. Also...hot chocolate at the cafe!!

I felt very welcome. I am not a gamer, but my employee is and we went there for the coffee, which was amazing! I had a custom Ameicanno (I didn’t want sugar, but the owner offered me Almond flavor which is sugar free, and then a shot of milk). I definitely had energy afterwards, lol! I look forward to having coffee there soon. I also enjoyed the history she shared about the Americanno so if you don’t know either then go find out and enjoy for yourself!

Great place for games. Drinks at the coffee bar are good.
