Great Cafe and helpful staff. Unique assortment and games/cards to browse while you wait

Great frozen coffees and a real chillaxed atmosphere with some friendly gamers well-versed in the anime and card decks world.

Love Side Deck and the cafe itself is great. Parking is rough at times though and it's not very handicap accessible. The space inside is very cramped and you already have to squeeze through space, being handicap makes it worse. I don't think I could get my wheelchair in there but using my canes was possible. The staff are tremendously friendly and knowledgeable. 😊

We were traveling through here for a mini vacation and decided to stop! We didn't get anything to drink, as we came for the Pokemon item's.
I believe his name is John? We can't remember right off, but he was SO friendly! He was very knowledgeable, and definitely not a jerk like some of there other card shop employees!
He definitely helped us find what we were looking for, showed us the Pokemon books they have, let us know about some upcoming products, he even got us set up with an account!
We 100% recommend this place! We will definitely stop here when we come back through again too! We are extremely happy with our items we got, the prices, the service, and everything in between!

If you're looking to purchase cards whether they be Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dungeons and Dragons, etc, and also meet like minded people who also played the very games themselves in a friendly environment, then this is the place for you. The staff are incredible to work with and are very helpful. As a true Yu-Gi-Oh fan whose collected cards since childhood I'm ready to play the card game again. You'll see me there. 👍

I picked this location because I searched for coffee shop. However, this is more of a place where you can go and play or buy games. The staff was friendly, but had trouble making an Americano (2 shots of espresso and hot water). The espresso was weak and the water was tepid coming out of an electric kettle. In fairness, I felt that I would have enjoyed it better if I was there to play or purchase a game. I was a bit tired and did not make my complaint on the coffee known and left after browsing.

I really love the selection of singles here. Staff is great and yugioh tournaments always have a great turnout.

Chase is fantastic when it comes to helping with cards, deck boxes, info for some games.
The shop is very mellow, just a good place to chill and hangout with other nerds.
My husband and a good friend love the coffee. (I don't drink coffee, but my husband is super picky with it so high praise.)
My best friend goes there all the time and likes the Italian sodas. I wasn't a fan personally.
It's got a great atmosphere and it is super newbie friendly.

If you are looking for a friendly and competitive environment for a variety of games such as trading card games and some board games, then The Side Deck is the place to visit. From card shopping to game playing, the staff is incredibly helpful and they do a wonderful job of making everyone feel welcome! And with a full coffee bar, there's something here for everyone.
A couple of things to note: the establishment does currently (Feb. 2022) require masks. The Side Deck is also very active on social media, so tournaments and events are listed and updated often.
