Love the name and the restaurant. The pancakes were very good, light and fluffy!

The atmosphere was good, the staff friendly, and service prompt. They were very amenable to some extra instruction on how I wanted my biscuits and gravy prepared. Unfortunately, the dish wasn't really to my taste. The biscuits were dense instead of fluffy and It seemed like they used Italian sausage. The eggs were great and the hash browns were ok, could have stood to be a little crispier.

2nd time there, and just as good as the first time. This time we had our pooch, and she also loved her meal

Service was quick and friendly. The prices were par for the area. Coffee and breakfast burrito were excellent.

Went to Watusi Cafe today with my wife. Amazing fresh food. Everything was home made and delicious. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food. Our waiter was a bit on the slow side

Great food, good variety on the menu, fast service. We always reminisce about what Watusi was like in the early years. It’s grown a ton. Still has great food, just a bit different ambiance

This review is strictly for the To go part.
The two ladies doing the registers barely acknowledged us and we were the only ones in there. Lots of things didn't have a sign on them for what they are. Asking about them got us a rude reply. We ordered and it took forever for them to make the food and our two drinks.
The food was mediocre at best. We had a blueberry scone, waffles, two breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon bun and a Danish.
The scone and bun were both dry. The sandwiches were okay but completely overpriced for $10 each. My caramel frappe was also a whooping $7 for them to mix milk and ice and some powder. We payed nearly 60 dollars for this and it's just not worth it at all. The best part is when they ask for a tip for barely doing their job.
Definitely do not recommend. Go to plantation cafe two doors down and get a proper breakfast for less.

What a gem of a place we found on a bike ride this morning. As soon as you walk through the doors there is a sense of relaxation. The staff was friendly, atmosphere was relaxing, & the food was delicious. Have your K9 with you? There's a menu for them to & you can eat on the patio 🙌
