Barista Alley is an over-all fantastic coffee shop! I've been to most of the coffee shops in the Greenville area, in this is one of my favorites. The atmosphere is great, perfect for studying, and the coffee is decently priced and delicious. It caters to a lot of the young college-aged hipster crowd, but that's not really a bad thing. There is decent seating, but it can be hard to find a place to sit during busy evenings or weekends. BA has a fantastic pour-over menu as well, and they're always experimenting with new brews. As a coffee enthusiast, it's always exciting to see what they come up with next! I highly recommend stopping by!

The good: the food and coffee they serve is great. However, we did not enjoy the new location. Much more crowded feel and limited seating. The tables near the registers had little room, especially once a line forms and people wait on their order.
We’ll be back, but we’re taking it to go from now on.

The place is nice and a very charming atmosphere, however we visited on a crowded day so our food got delivered to someone else and took a lot longer to eat.
Management found out the problem without us having to complain and gave us a gift card for the trouble but still not very pleasant, thats why the 4 stars. But we are definitely going back.

Well... I don't like leaving bad reviews but sometimes you have too! My venue recommended this place to cater a coffee bar for my Wedding. She said they had been to the venue before and she really liked them. So after emailing back and forth and coming up with everything i wanted at the wedding, I Venmo payed them everything. 3 weeks before the wedding i sent out a email to all my vendors to make sure everything was still good with everyone and they replied back that they never got a date from me but yet they still took my money 6 months ago...They do not do contracts & I should have seen that as a red flag but....so i re gave them my date and they said they were good. So the day of the wedding they call and say they went to the wrong venue (over an hour away) AND spilled all the milk for the hot chocolate that i ordered . Soo not only did they miss the ENIRE cocktail hour (that we hired them for) and they didn't have the hot chocolate either. (p.s we got married on a cold and rainy day in December so HOT chocolate would have been really nice to have) I understand that things happen but the worst part is that they only gave me $75 refund for the spilled milk for the hot chocolate....To me i don't think that's okay. I paid them over a thousand dollars and they miss my entire cocktail hour and no hot chocolate and all i get is $75 back? I do not agree with this at all. I have emailed my thoughts to them and have no response so it has left to this review...I will have nothing to do with the coffee place ever and nor with i recommend them to anyone. I do NOT like being like this but for anyone going fwd with them for a event just be ware.

Their staff is always friendly and kind; speedy service with a smile is always such a nice experience. Every time I'm in South Carolina I can't help but stop here. There's plenty of seating inside, and some tables outside. Their coffee is definitely flavorful, and they offer dairy alternatives that you can add-in. The interior decor is welcoming, yet minimalist and not distracting at all. If I lived in the area, I'd be there all the time for the relaxing atmosphere alone! Only downside- they don't have a parking lot, but considering the street parking is easy and plentiful, it's not really a detriment to their accessibility. Glad to see a coffee shop that isn't St*rbucks that's thriving!

The coffee and tea were great and the fruit crepe was good as well. My only complaint is that the chicken in the chicken crepeadilla was obviously bought in and had that ubiquitous processed taste and texture commonly encountered in mediocre food. I highly recommend the beverages and the simpler crepe offerings. Staff were friendly and attentive. This is overall a great addition to downtown Greer!

This the best place to get a cup of coffee and they also just opened a crepe bar and the crepes are simply amazing!!!!!!

They just moved from across the street to their new location. It is an old bank building. It’s a very cool vibe inside. Coffee is good, but haven’t tried the food yet. They were packed on the Saturday morning we tried them, so we were unable to get a table - they do have quite a few places to sit (mainly upstairs though).

Cool vibes but understaffed. (Which can’t really blame them for that with current situation)
Coffee tasted burnt so maybe it was a bad batch the one time we went.
Not a great experience but willing to try again soon.
