Southside Cafe

I have told for the past few years I needed to try Southside Cafe. WOW at what I was missing out on. It's small, it's quaint, it's warm and Inviting. The staff is so friendly. OH let's not forget the food....my goodness. The breakfast is great. Grits and Toast are cooked to perfection. For lunch, the meatloaf is out of sight. Thick and firm, holds together just right. The side items are awesome. But I have to point out one item that stole my heart.....the potato salad. Mmmm..... WOW!!! Let's Not forget the sweet tea!!! Southern style, with the right amount of sugar and strength. The BEST on town!!!
It's a small place with a LOT of LOVE under one roof. You can walk in and order to go, call your order in and pick up or sit down and eat and meet and greet the town. A MUST try so well worth it. "Come on in" 😁

I have had a salad, a loaded potato, and many burgers. If you like meat centric food this is the place for you. Try the triple cheese burger for a interesting meal. The staff are always friendly and I have not had a order wrong yet. The restaurant is usually crowded so if you are not eating in, call ahead. I waited 15 minutes one visit but the manager gave me extra onion rings and gave me a triple cheese burger for the price of a normal burger.

My husband and I came in for lunch. He ordered the fried catfish, fried green tomatoes, and the Mac and cheese. I ordered the country fried steak with rice and gravy, and Mac and cheese. The steak was seasoned and breaded perfectly. Everything was great including the service. Awesome prices too!

Great little cafe.Small town Americana at it's best. Strangers are treated like family and come to find out much of their food is sourced locally.

The food was absolutely delicious. The cheeseburger plate the fries were cooked just right the cheeseburger was just right. the people there were super friendly and nice everything was nice it was clean it's really a small little Town Place

Katy is an amazing hostess. She is very attentive and kept the restaurant very clean. I don't come to Greenwood often, but when I do I will be visiting this establishment again.
