Have you been to this beautiful coffee house and Market Family owned by an incredible family. It is located off Verdae Blvd in a lovely setting. They have all types of coffee teas lavender lemonade crepes pastry and so much more. The baristas and staff are amazing. The new market next door is so cool they feature local Farmers Makers Bakers and Artisians. They are going to have Ice Cream sandwiches and so much more. Go by and see them you will be glad you did.

Great place for a coffee or tea. Crisp clean interior design. Across from a big beautiful park. Lots of seating, but stays busy. Drinks take a while so go when you have 7-10 minutes to wait for a drink. Limited nibbles available.

Dense, delicious cinnamon roll on this fine Valentine's Day. Staff was friendly and very quick despite having multiple orders at a time and being short staffed. The decor is unmatched and the coffee here is strong as Popeye's left and right forearm. Awesome experience!

The place seems very lovely, but the young man and young lady at the counter would not look up from the register to acknowledge me. I stood there as they carried on their conversation and finally had to say "Excuse me..." to get their attention. My senior friend and I had stopped by to visit the publicized pop-up shops and try out their coffee and pastries. I left after asking where the "market" was, because I realized that attention to customers was not their forte'.
Just a note...
Left a message.on their phone mail before posting my review. They called as per my phone record, but left no message. I always like to let the owner explain their side of the issue before I post, but they didn't seem to care.

This place is magical. The owners clearly thought through every detail. If you’re looking for a cozy, classy space to meet a friend for coffee or have some time for yourself, visit Chestnut Coffee! I highly recommend the lavender iced latte!

Ordered the iced cold brew with vanilla and oat milk. The house made syrup was perfect. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

Pros:
-Location! This is maybe my favorite location of any coffee shop in Greenville. Plenty of parking, easy access with a stroller, park across the street, not overly crowded etc.
-Size of shop. Fairly big and plenty of seating!
-Serve Methodical-I think? or Bridge City? This was a bit hard to tell because they sell both bags. Either way, those are my two favorite roasters in Greenville, so huge points there. We didn't see anything prominently stating which roaster they were using. My husband asked what was on drip and the barista wasn't sure which roaster it was from. Personally, we think that should be marketed because both have a huge following!
-Staff was really friendly albeit pretty green.
-Drinks were delicious.
Cons:
-I know not everyone goes to a coffeeshop for food, but I do! The first time I went on a Saturday I noticed that they had crepes. We didn't have time to eat that day, so came back on Sunday at 1:00 PM. We were then told that they don't do crepes on Sundays because they stop making them at 1:00 PM. Totally fair- thought then that should be specified somewhere on their menu or website. We went back the next Saturday around 8:15 specifically to get breakfast. We were told that they don't do crepes until 9:00 AM....they also had zero pastries. I asked when those were coming and she said that it should be soon. We watched cronuts arrive soon after that only to sit on the counter in containers they arrived in until we ended up leaving close to 9:00 AM. To be fair, they probably would have grabbed me one if I had asked, but seems so weird that food wouldn't be available when the shop actually opens? This shop isn't super close to us, so pretty frustrating that we went twice to try food and was disappointed both times. Really crossing fingers that I get to try their food someday. I have looked all over their website and insta and can't find anything regarding specific times anything is available.
-Would also highly recommend having all drinks listed on their menu even if just seasonal. Tried one of their refreshers, which was great, but only knew about it because of insta. It wasn't anywhere on their menu (at least the day we went). Overall, it's just pretty obvious that it's a newer shop...which is totally fine! We will be back again with hopes for a better experience!
