I have frequented both the Verdae and Simpsonville locations and love chestnut! The prices are a bit steep, but the quality and service is excellent. They don’t use artificial coloring/flavoring which is huge! Personally I think the Verdae location needs more indoor seating as some days it’s near impossible to find a spot to sit. The aesthetic of both locations is on point! Love this local treasure!!

Local coffee shops are my jam & this one is a new favorite! Excellent coffee, delish pastries & incredibly designed environment. So many cute spots to sit, with lots of room! Can’t wait to be back soon!

The coffee, tea, market, and atmosphere is just the BEST!!! Their attention to detail can been seen and felt in everything! I also love how the menu changes seasonally and the use ingredients that are better for you!

Can't believe it took me almost 6 months to find this lovely spot and its literally 4 minutes from my place. More than just coffee and tea, this is a small market, workspace, and meeting place. 100x better than the local Starbucks. Gluten free options, and products as well as many local foodstuffs. Plenty of parking too.
Enjoying a honey cardamom oatmilk latte and a g.f. blueberry scone on this chilly Saturday morning.
Just 🥰 perfect.

Cute coffee shop! The staff were super friendly and even joined in our my daughters dance party. My coffee was delightful. Parking is easy (there's a parking lot right behind the building). It's a great add to the location and can't wait to go back.

Cool vibes… But nothing beyond that.
The atmosphere in Chestnut is nice! They have a lot of different options, home decor, ice cream, coffee and some food options as well.
Unfortunately, the staples that I came for were less than… They have a breakfast burrito for $8. Luckily I saw someone else’s and it’s very disproportionally sized against the cost. I would rather go somewhere else and spend $3 more dollars for a complete meal.
We ordered an americano and a caramel oatmilk latte. The coffee is good, not anything exceptional. They forgot the caramel in the latte, but I will say that they fixed it promptly, which I appreciated.
We had a cinnamon roll as well. A solid 6/10.
I will update when I’ve tried their ice cream, this could be a redeeming quality if it’s good.

Came here on a Wednesday morning at about 9:30 and it was packed, but I still found a table! My latte was pretty good…not great. The atmosphere is super cute though. Very trendy, with locally made items all around for purchase and decoration. It was mostly people working on computers or meeting a friend. I’ll be back!

Such an awesome gem. I take my walks in the park near by and can stop in for coffee, tea & treats. The atmosphere for so perfect 💛

Great local coffee shop, gifts, ice cream and more. Had the “Salty Brew” a delicious vanilla cold brew with salted brown sugar and caramel foam.

What you see is a caramel cappuccino, I believe. They go easy on the caramel flavoring, at least for my tastes, so if you trying to go crazy you gotta ask. They actually serve the coffee at drinking temperatures you so can go at it right away.
This place looks snazzy af. The interior looks great, is comfortable, and is kept clean. They're very business but the baristas there get the job done and get the orders out quick. They have an assortment of good looking pastries which come in a gluten-free varietal, which is sold-out given the locale and its clientele. This is definitely a place where mac users can accumulate to pretend they're getting actual journalistic work or something done and seem professional while doing so.
I don't think you should actually be trying to get work done here unless you enjoy the loud white noise of affluent mayosapien-based conversations, but you do you. This also honestly has the highest concentration of Asians I've seen outside of Greenville's specialty Asian districts/events, like Costco or Trader Joe's.
If you work out in the area/are thirsty near Legacy Park, you can also get you water from here. They've a sink with glass cups you can use if you just want water.
