Open daily until midnight, good variety of coffee flavors and a medium costs the same as Starbucks. Comfy cozy space inside. Only reason not a 5 is that $2+ is too much for a regular coffee (imho). Really like this place!

Great coffee place right by the university and state capitol. The setting is in an old house. There are different rooms to study or relax and enjoy one of the best coffee in town or order some food. Professional barista that you can order your own custom coffee.

Personally, I find their Mocha to be a bit too sweet, they are nestled conveniently on the USC campus. I find the staff to meet service expectations, and the general ambiance of the place feels like a great place to study. My only major qualm is lack of free parking, though that isn't particularly relevant to students who are walking/biking to class.

Cool Beans recently (I say recently, that could mean any time in the last three years) expanded to include the downstairs area as well. It is a little cozy coffee shop where you can meet all sorts of interesting people either on purpose or just because you elbowed them in the face. It's very cozy. Amazingly cozy. Go make a friend. I don't know much about coffee but that seems pretty good too.

Coffee shops are supposed to look like this. The furnishings are supposed to match but not match at the same time. It's supposed to be quiet but energetic and chatty. Starbucks is an impossible place to hang out or get work done with how chaotic it is. This place has much more of a local feel that encourages people to hang out. Reminds me of the old Daily Dose that used to exist off 135th and quivira back in the day.

They were amazing! Staying open until midnight really helped my husband and I waiting for the concert to end to pick up our daughter and her friends. The employes gave great conversation and information for travelers. Also, the coffee was yuuummmmyyyyy!

Friendly, collegiate atmosphere. Coffee is delicious but a tad pricey. Wish they had more outlets in their dining area for trying to get work done on a laptop

First time here, ordered a ice coffee and it was great! Service was great as well. Also, they have a reward card to build up for a free cofee/speciality drink!

I do love the cozy neighborliness of their space and the fact that I can tune out for an hour with a book without being made to feel that I'm taking up tipping space. I also love the coffee selection. I know the difference between a Colombian and a Sumatran and so do they. Ok, enough free love. The coziness can get a bit cramped and loud which very occasionally can screw up an otherwise almost perfect break in the day. Thus, the four stars for a place that works hard to be a five star.
