It's a hip, modern take on a coffee shop. It has an upstairs and a downstairs. The drinks and food is good. Get a Perfect Woman! Perfect name to a delicious drink.

It does take some time to get your orders though and they try to make cleaning up after yourself seem "cool" with their signs on the wall. Listen, I'm paying you for food I don't think I should self bus my table.

High quality food and high quality coffee. And everyone that works there makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

Coffee is fine, parking is available, and sufficient amounts of seating. They serve coffee in air pots which is fine and Panera bread does the same thing— however, every time I went for a refill the coffee was room temperature at best.
As someone who works in coffee, it’s an easy fix, really. Tighten the seal underneath the air pots or freshen the pots every 3 hours. Really. They should stay hot for 3-5 hours at a time.

I have been going to Cool Beans for years. It's one of my favorite spots. Great coffee and I love the wraps. Excellent choice for lunch or dinner, or to meet up for business or friends.

I love this place SO MUCH! They are open until midnight EVERY day. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable on all drinks. The food is even better though, let me tell you what! Such a nice location and relaxing place. 10 out of 5 stars!

What people should know about this place? The first thing you should know is that every Wednesday night Al Black hosts a poetry Open Mic called Mind Gravy. Sometimes I sing there. The other thing that you should know is that they have decaf espresso and a variety of non-dairy creamers. And milks. The third thing that you should know is that the parking sucks most of the time. The fourth thing that you should know is that the service here and the vibe here is awesome. It is one of my favorite coffee houses in Columbia.

Cozy atmosphere for a college student and hours that work with a student's schedule. I have had a handful of times that the service was a little rude which is a bummer. Coffee flavors are good and the wraps/soups are very tasty!

I normally enjoy my visits to Cool Beans-- staff is usually pretty friendly and the coffee is good. It has a lovely, homey atmosphere that's great for studying or catching up with friends. However, this afternoon, my barista was beyond rude and pretty stuck-up. I ordered a macchiato and the barista replied, "Have you been here before? You know you get a drink about this big," (motioned with his hands) and then said "It's not like Starbucks. We don't do that here," as if I was completely ignorant and had never drank coffee before. It was disappointing and unprofessional, and has definitely had me rethinking my patronage.

One of my favorite places to grab coffee. Atmosphere is cozy and suitable for meeting someone or getting some work done. Employees are always great. Be careful parking as cars get towed in the lot next door sometimes.
