Charleston Coffee Exchange

I really like this coffee shop! I have been here a few times now and it has a great vibe. The coffee is really good as they have selections from Central America, the prices are cheap, and the staff is super friendly! They also have sample packets of ground coffee for purchase or you can have them ground up some beans of your choice and get more to go. Definitely recommend this place!

Smells amazing in the store, full of coffee beans! Purchased a couple half pounds of whole beans for my cold brew, will try once home. Drove down on a day trip, very easy! Bought a small ice Cafe mocha, and it's ok. Free hot coffee with purchase of beans - got Snickerdoodle which is ok. Will update review after try coffee beans.

We came in just around 9am and didn't have to wait long for our order. Efficient service, good drinks. They have an amazing selection of coffee beans with great explanations of origin and flavors. We ordered a bacon/egg/cheese and sausage/egg/cheese croissants, and they were delicious.

My husband and I go there every morning before work. On the mornings that we can't get there, we can certainly tell the difference in the day. It's not just the wonderful coffee that makes this place, it is the incredible people who work there. They are like our little family. The customers are all pretty great too. We could go on forever but they make that little space that they're in very welcoming and cozy. To us, they are a true treasure and we just feel so fortunate to have them so close to home. Pam and Todd Morgan are their Biggest Fans❣️

Delicious! Just had an oatmilk cappuccino. The coffee is so flavorful. If I lived local I would come here often

Lia is the best!! I didn’t know what I wanted so she asked me a few preference questions and made me a perfect drink! She also went out of her way to help me three different times when my toddler was being difficult to deal with (she even had a toy shark fidget that she allowed him to play with - so thoughtful). Thank you, Lia, for amazing customer service!

the coffee exchange is such a friendly, warm, and welcoming shop! They’ve even memorized my order! definitely my top recommendation for anyone who asks me where to get good coffee in west ashley! $$$ convenient as well

This place was the coolest! I saw the long line and was thought ok there has to be a reason that people don’t mind the wait. I completely get it! The coffee was delicious and the variety of drinks and pastries was amazing. They had it all! I ordered a frozen coffee and a box of coffee. I went with their in house blend and wowie was it a good choice. Great coffee with great flavor. I can see why this place gets busy, it’s delicious!

I had been looking forward to trying this coffee spot and went out of my way to get there. Order a cup of coffee and it’s cold. Ask the girl at the counter for somewhere to dispose of it or a new hot cup and she says “No we aren’t throwing it out. I’ll heat it up” and puts it in the microwave! I can reheat old coffee for myself at home for free. It was so gross and so disappointing. I will not be returning and would not recommend it for someone that wants a fresh cup of coffee.

3.5* latte. Smooth but not strong, no art. It was served at a drink-it-now temperature, which was fine for summer.

Snacks were just OK. The granola bar was more like a GF oatmeal cake. Coffee cake was better but basically OK.

All that said, the place was hoppin at 9a Monday, obviously popular with the locals
