Charleston Coffee Exchange

Am I a coffee shop guy? A lot of my favorite places these days are coffee shops, it seems, so here's another great one. Great, real coffee here. If you're on Bee's Ferry or the area, this is where buzz comes from.

Chocolate Raspberry and Vanilla Butter Coffees are smooth and delicious. Just exceptional coffee. Took some home to try two weeks ago - and just placed an order for more. Delighted to find this quality so close to home.

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, but just had a really bad experience here. Walked over with my dog to grab a coffee to-go, and after ordering was told my dog wasn’t allowed. I didn’t have anywhere else for him to go as we walked there, and I was alone, and when I said that, I just got told over and over that he wasn’t allowed. When she finished my coffee she shoved it across the counter and sarcastically said “have a nice day.” I’ve been all over Charleston with him and even though I know technically he isn’t allowed, it’s never been a problem when ordering food or drinks to-go, and it felt so unnecessary to tell me after I had ordered. Sad to not be able to support this business anymore as I live less than a mile away.

This place was amazing. The wife and I went here before going to Middleton place. The coffee was made absolutely to perfection as well as the prices were very good compared to other places.

The coffee is pretty good here, I had the espresso and they're using a darker roast so it's more of a bitter taste but well managed and still quite nice. Charleston coffee exchange also has a decent selection of pastries, the muffins are pretty good as well. They also sell coffee bean and have numerous varieties that you can try to get the best coffee that you like.

Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I usually get a ham, cheese, and egg croissant and it's seriously one of the best I've ever had. I'm not a coffee drinker but I've taken a few friends here for coffee and they all seem to really enjoy it. It's the perfect place to get a wholesome coffee shop experience.

Of all the coffee shops we frequented during our trip to Charleston, this place was hands down the absolute best. The honey latte I got smelled and tasted divine, and the cappuccino was also great. Ambience and atmosphere were also 10/10, perfect cozy vibes for the fall season. Definitely recommend this place to any coffee lovers passing through.

A great coffee shop! We enjoyed it so much we visited multiple times while in Charleston and we took fresh ground beans home with us to Pennsylvania!

The Italian coffee is terrible and should be poured down the drain and the other coffees are not far behind the Italian. Their somewhat save in grace is the pastries but skip the terrible coffee !!

Good coffee, bad service. First visit was great. Second time was not good. I ordered four coffees and ended up getting five. When I questioned I was told it was what I ordered. Additionally, not any of the five coffees were correct. Apart from being incorrect the coffee here is very good.

Update 11/25/22 - Adding back a star. In subsequent visits both the coffee and service have been excellent.
