Ok so I went in this Pete’s expecting to come out with a coffee and I did not. First, they do not follow instructions very well. I had to repeat the process of making my drink. Then when I did get it it was wrong and tasted like milk and water. I explained that the drink was not made right nor did it taste right. I requested for a refund gave them back the drink because they did not offer to make another one. The manager then said to me I win the awed for the most funkiest drink order. I’m sorry, but are you not a CUSTOM drink facility?? Isn’t that what we are paying for? Everything would have been good if they had of offered to make the drink again or to make me something else, but that did not happen.
Great place to grab a cuppa and meet with friends or have a business meeting. Plenty of seats both indoors and outdoors. Coffee is fantastic! What a great staff too. Always courteous and friendly.
The dark roast drip coffee is the standby here, and it's very consistent. Sometimes the medium roast drip, which I prefer, is not available. Espresso drinks are just ok- too bitter with not enough nuance. Maybe use a lighter roast? I like espresso drinks more in general but I've never had a good one here. The prices are a good value though. Can be a wait at busy times like weekend mornings.
Great coffee
4 stars because it is a chain. Support local coffee shops! Still, great selection of teas along with your usual fare of coffees. Always friendly staff. Nice seating inside and out, but is often crowded with students, so hard to find a spot. Parking is miserable.
Ordered banana bread, got ginger spice bread instead... I was diving away before I noticed :(
Friendly, hardworking staff serving great coffee and snacks. Not sure about management, though, as there were not enough people on duty to keep the tables cleared and cleaned. Also, not Peet's fault, but it appears neighboring businesses use the breezeway by the outdoor seating to dump their trash and recycling.
Good coffee! Not like others thou shalt not be named who peddle inferior burnt carcinogens! Wish they had longer hours of operation, but understandably the economy hurt many places. Friendly staff, quick service. Thank you Peet's!
Love Peet's coffee! We don't have many locations back home in Vegas, so this place has been a favorite stop during our stay here in Sacramento. Staff was awesome and our orders have been consistently perfect. Happy your company offers a chicken chorizo as a food option, too. These may have been the best grab-and-go sandwich options we've ever had from the a coffee spot. Thank you guys!

Not a review of the coffee. Had to make a quit stop to the restroom and it is disgusting in there. Please hire another person.

This is only the best Peet's coffee I've ever had! I always order a mocha frappe with extra cinnamon and pumps to really distinguish the mocha from the coffee. The atmosphere is also quintessential for college students, since I can always get a maximum amount of work done. That said, I wish there was more seating.

Manager: "Liiiike...I used to manage a CVS and I'm being reeeeally nice letting you hang out here". Typical standardized corporate coffee place. No open Mikes, no books, though , I admit very slightly above Starbucks which God only created to punish us.

These guys know coffee in this Downtown Davis location! They make some of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever seen come out of a coffee shop. So I would urge anyone in the area to give them a try and relax in a great atmosphere.. it’s worth the time 💯
