After four times recently buying some good coffee I made a special trip today to get my first refill. I was informed for the first time that a refill must be the same day as a regular purchase. I was unhappy that I hadn’t previously been informed of that policy and I left. There was nothing on the website I could see to give feedback - send a message to management about it.

I like Pachamama a lot. The chairs are comfortable and it's well lit. The music volume is good and I can read or talk to friends. It's cheerful here and the social justice initiatives are on point. I've had about three cappuccinos here, a cortado, and three pour-overs at the recommendation of the staff, who are always friendly, sincere, and professional. Why only 4 stars? The coffee is good but not great, not as flavorful as Temple only a block away. It tastes a bit simple and flat- on par with Mishka's, Philz, or Peet's. I don't know if it's in the beans, roasting, storage, grinding, or brewing, but with a few adjustments it could be great.

Great coffee and wonderful service! First, I love their coffee. Sometimes I’m in the mood for a fancy coffee and all of their seasonal ones are delish (the lavender latte is my favorite!). Other times I just want a basic latte and their coffee is strong but not bitter. Second, my kids love Pachamama. This is our go-to “date” place for the kids. They get a hot chocolate and the baristas are so sweet and patient with them. My son loves axolotls and they made him one on his hot chocolate, which made his day. Slightly pricier than a chain coffee brand but not by much and the taste is so much better it’s worth it.

Staff were lovely and location was nice. Got the gingerbread brulee latte and it wasn’t terrible but it was cold and too sweet. Pretty. Just not worth the price.

Davis students - come here to study. Seriously. Enjoy a crazy amount of natural sunlight and outlets! I know it’s at the edge of downtown but the coffee is incredible and something about the plants surrounding you makes long work sessions much more bearable.

Great coffee prepared by caring baristas that take the time to make your order just the way you'd like it. Seating is limited, but very spacious, and with thoughtful decorations throughout that make this a great place to meet up with a small group of friends

Awesome coffee and tea, friendly staff and great location to relax and chat with a friend. My favorite is the Maple Bruelé you can’t go wrong with it if you have sweet tooth.

The establishment is really nice and the prices are actually pretty reasonable considering they include oatmilk by default. That being said, the espresso isn't very flavorful. Still highly recommended.

Went to Pachamama today with my girlfriend and got a double shot of espresso. It’s a very clean store and friendly environment! On their wall they have a donation spot to support Ukraine 🇺🇦 which I thought was something more than just coffee. Thank you Pachamama staff and store for the great coffee! I will see you again.

Easily in top coffee spots in Davis! The location is convenient, it sits on the corner of 2nd and G by the train station. Somehow the light is always hitting perfectly in there, really giving you a sense of waking-up-for-that-first-cup-of-coffee feeling. The staff is kind and welcoming, though some are clearly more experienced than others as baristas (that's okay, hard to get around). They are always happy to chat you up or ask you about your day. The coffee itself is fantastic, if you're looking for a bean source in Davis, this is it. There are very few beans in town that are better. Smooth, complex coffee, that actually tastes like the flavor notes listed on the bag. It's really delicious stuff. They also do a wonderful job of coming up with creative seasonal drinks to try, I couldn't get enough of the Peaches n' Cream cold brew this Summer! Always happy to stop by at Pachamama, see you all soon!
