Very nice and quiet, and such tasty coffee! The breakfast sandwiches were nice and hot, and it really tasted like good diner food. It was small and cozy, and was a very peaceful sensory experience. The staff looked and sounded like they were having fun, and were very friendly and relaxed. Had cute frog puns for some of the coffee names, which I enjoy. Small space, but open floor, wouldn't be too hard to navigate with a cane or wheelchair

The breakfast sandwich on a cheddar bagel was amazing. Ideal ratios of everything and the scrambled eggs were perfect. There was also a tomato sauce in there?? So good. The coffee is also really tasty. The atmosphere is lovely especially in the mornings. The baristas are really nice too :) I will return

Love the Healer Latte! The Mudbar is also delicious. Cozy with plenty of seating. Not too loud like some coffee places can be. Staff is courteous. Bathroom is clean.

I love the atmosphere here and the overall concept of the place. The employees were friendly. I tried oat cappuccinos twice over the last two years and they weren't very good. The espresso shots were weak and the flavor was flat. But this is exactly the type of small local business I want to support, so I hope their espresso drinks get better.

They get 3 stars for being open on new years and for their tasty little apple pastry which was vegan. However the coffee was gas station level! And I had to pay about $8.50 for the pastry snd coffee.

Very cute cafe! I haven’t tried any of the food here, but their hot brown sugar cinnamon latte is really delicious! I like their regular lattes as well, and the staff is always very kind. One thing to note is that their kitchen closes at 1pm: if you stop by between 1 and 2, make sure you’ve already eaten lunch!

Here from out of town and stopped in for some coffee before walking around davis. The bagel was very fresh, well toasted, and they were generous with the cream cheese. The latte was delicious as well. And they delivered each of my items to me in the cafe so I didn't need to get up either time. They have small medium and large coffee size options, but they don't have skim milk, only 2% or whole when it comes to cow milk. The environment is adorable and they have bar seating looking out the windows or cafe table seats. They have a select number of breakfast items or pastries too. As I sit it seems they have a number of regular customers and that speaks well to the place to have people consistently returning either for the coffee or the workers. The main barista was training a new employee too and they were doing very well both teaching and learning. I'd return! Thanks for the service!

Very laid back vibe. Responsive staff are quick and detailed with remembering orders. This place is an excellent stop for a morning snack or lunchtime sandwich and coffee. Or just to get work done. The lack of parking shouldn't put you off, considering street parking nearby is plentiful. But honestly speaking most people will be biking or walking here. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking to get away from the larger, noisier spots downtown.

The food and coffee here is average to below average, nothing special. The venue is very nice, small with nice seating areas. Not recommended.

Two words: Mayan Mocha. You definitely need to get a cuppa joe here. Coffee is good and the staff is nice. Plenty of places to sit, relax and watch the world go by. Tables inside and outside - you choice.

Just a regular 12 oz coffee. Was ok. Nice easy access location..Bakery items at 10 a.m. were ho hum. Seating outside under umbrellas. Water for your dog is a nice touch.

Niche, no fuss, focused on the drink you're buying, not the space you're getting it. Minimal, delicious, with sunny seats outside. Drinks are served large 👍

I love this little coffee bar! I wish more Davisites would make the detour to G Street to check it out. The drinks are great, including some oddities like the lavender mint latte. The owner is wonderful, and she employs university students as staff. The students are always friendly and a joy to chat with.

Mediocre, overpriced food with a side of negligence for allergies really made this place stand out. Who puts cold shredded taco cheese mix on a turkey pesto wrap? Not to mention the ingredients were Walmart grade, pretty sure my turkey came out of a Lunchable. If you like microwaved eggs and tater tots from the frozen section, their breakfast burritos are for you. Personally, I graduated from that when stopped making myself breakfast in elementary school. Never again. My girlfriend has stomach pain because the only modification she added (soy milk) was forgotten. The person at the counter also wasn't completely sure what was in the burrito we ordered, which is an issue because it's not listed anywhere in or on any menu. Surprise?

First time here, my coffee was just a cup of milk. I had to wait 15 minutes for one shot of espresso to make my coffee drinkable lol. Super disappointed, the reviews definitely don't match the actual experience I had. Sadly, won't be returning. ALSO* we spent $37 dollars on 2 microwaved burritos, one coffee, and one lemonade... wish I asked for my money back.
