Great coffee & matcha, but consistently closes hours earlier on a regular basis. Closed at 2pm (3hrs early) on a weekday, and 4pm (2hrs early) on a Sunday. Open until 5PM every day?...
Although the coffee may be enjoyable, I regret to say that the customer service provided at this establishment was unsatisfactory. The woman at the counter appeared uninterested in assisting me, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was due to my Asian heritage. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place to others.
I just moved to the bay last year, and as a coffee roaster I said to try as much coffee as I could. after going to upwards of 30 coffee shops, artis easily takes my spot for #1 coffee in the bay. fantastic espresso & drip, great service, i only wish there were locations open in the city.
Not a fan of the service from staff or baristas. They are bothered by questions
Lovely staff :) note for travellers: they do not take cash!
If you're a coffee lover, you won't want to miss this spot. The coffee is delicious, and the spacious, rustic industrial ambiance is a great place to enjoy it. While the seating could be more plentiful and comfortable, the overall vibe is still inviting. With some improved interior design, this coffee shop could be the ultimate cozy hangout spot. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth checking out for the quality of their coffee alone.
What's up with these low energy staff... No longer the same...
(My first ever Google review in the past three years ) Food and place is good. Most of staff are friendly BUT IT'S just ONE GUY. He has this weird way of communication and small weird facial expressions that made us (me and my friends more than three times already) feel uncomfortable and even offended. FYI. A white guy wearing glass with medium length hair.
Quality coffee, good space
Good Coffee, good place but I hope they have more seats
Great vibes, super friendly and helpful staff, and of course, one of the best coffee places you will find in SF easily. A must 100%!!!!
I was here on a rainy day. Definitely loved the vibe. It has Indoor as well as outdoor seating. I tried their “sea salt toffee cappuccino” which is worth a mention! They have really good black coffee too.. I’ll be back to try out more on their menu.. They are open till 5pm on the weekdays.
Be prepared for extremely rude/condescending service if you visit this coffee shop. I’m gonna stick with larger coffee shops. They atleast have standards for customer service.
My experience was awful Staff not friendly *I asked an extra hot coffee, they didn’t do it “extra hot”. I asked them if they can heat it up and their reaction was very rude. At the end I just left the coffee over their table and left. They treat much better at Peet’s
Cappuccino was very good. They were not accepting cash, not sure if that is temporary... Atmosphere is okay
I got a seasonal drink, a toffee cappucino that was delightfully salty and sweet at the same time. Their cups are really cute and some indoor and outdoor seating. They sell plenty of coffee merch as well, a ton of Fellow Coffee thermos in varieties of colors. The vibe is cozy and I enjoyed my drink plenty.
This is NOT the same fun Artis!!!! I was so excited to come in this weekend because it’s October and was ready to see what they did this year for the themes and costumes…. nothing. Must be new management because the New staff is so rude, no energy. Such a waste of big space. Save your money, can get better coffee elsewhere and the customer experience is not the same.
Usually go for the Honey lavender latte and a pastry. As Bella rumbas the floor!
The place is very nice and modern with a “NYC” vibe. In a good way! Choices for non coffee drinkers are not bad. Still have to try the hot chocolate. The ultimate test! Service is cool. As in not very warm. They could use an occasional smile. Definitely will come back!!
I've had some pretty outstanding espresso here. There's a couple other local spots I really like (States and My Coffee) but I think Artise has the best espresso. The others do great cappuccinos.
