Great cold brew oat milk horchata. Order on snackpass ahead of time.
I stopped in to have a great Thai tea and relax after a long walk. So glad I did. Service is friendly. Will return to try the sandwiches, bagels etc.

I love to try local and new coffee shops in the east bay and Gold Bean Cafe did not disappoint. The setting is beautiful and great customer service, they have a wide variety of drinks and food to order all which look phenomenal. I opted for the famous egg and cheese with bacon, and a dulce de leche iced latte both were less than 18$ and worth the price. If you haven’t tried it yet get yourself some great coffee and a wonderful breakfast bagel.
I don't usually rate places, but gold bean is exceptional in all aspects.
Tried their oat horchata cold brew and dulce de leche latte, both were great drinks. If you’re adventurous go for their cold brew and if you have a sweet tooth get the latte. Super sweet people and the service is really quick too. There are tables to enjoy your order while studying. Plus, they have free Wi-Fi. Awesome place near campus! ^^

Everyone loves this place their food is delicious and fresh, we love the chicken pesto panini. They make great tasting coffee drinks and the staff are some of the nicest people. Since they opened we go there 3-4 times per week!
Sooooo good, and such a welcoming spot. A variety of drink options and super customizable sandwiches/bagels. If you're a fan of cream cheese, with a slight upcharge, they load your bagel up ridiculously- in a good way :D
Cute little cafe with a nice staff and comfortable interior. The food and drinks were very expensive, but as a once-in-a-while treat, this place is fine.
So overpriced for a tiny sandwich. I’d rather spend $15 at organic greens for a giant salad. Super friendly staff, unfortunately they’re given little to work with.
Robust, tasty drinks (with crushed ice no less!), properly seasoned bagel sandwich, and great service/staff. What’s not to love?
Amazing! Sausage egg and cheese bagel ✔️ Chocolate croissant ✔️ Coffee✔️ All so tasty. I ordered delivery, everything was warm and packed beautifully.

The best place to brunch near campus!! I've been here multiple times, trying out all the dishes and have always been amazed. The chipotle chicken, pesto chicken, turkey club sandwiches are all amazing. The Plain bagel with cheese too. Also try the brioche bun egg sandwich. The iced coffee protein shake was surprisingly delicious.
The drinks are creamy and delicious. The location is quite good, walkable from campus. The Dulce de Leche latte is their best drink. However, there is no AC so it can get very stuffy.
Amazing customer service d a quick bite for every taste bud. I ordered a berry smoothie and added pineapple chuncks it was delicious
Best coffee in Berkeley the service is really good the coffee is good amazing and I feel like their breakfast and baked goods is fantastic I can see why this is 5 stars!!
Absolutely love this place. Staff are very friendly and after my 2nd visit they all remembered my name. They take genuine effort and care. For instance they remembered I always drink oat milk and so once when I forgot to mention I want oat milk they put it in anyway because they knew I always drink it. Super great coffee and the food is always a go to if I need a meal quickly. Love this place
