Few places left for a fugitive like me to find safety, free wifi, and hard to find books for the resistance. Superb food and nice clean bathrooms.

Webster’s is my favorite place to be in State College! Delicious food, tea and coffee in a warm, welcoming place. Great place to meet up w friends or get work done! Or buy a fun book or record! Elaine, Webster’s owner, does an awesome job of welcoming all! This has also become a great venue for live music, actual dancing, Nerd Nite, and readings and performances by local authors & artists! Check out the Sunday brunch w an extravagant vegan buffet and live music Sundays 10-2, music starts at noon :).

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The overall setup is very cluttered and hard to navigate. The prices were okay and the quality of the books seemed very good. I'm glad I was able to find what I needed after asking for help. I dont know if I would go in again unless it was necessary.

It is hard to give places like that a proper rating as different things were differently good. Food wise, it was pretty terrible. I got the portobello pesto sandwich and it was incredibly salty. Inedible if not for the copious amount of hot sauce I put on it. The iced tea I got was really good, so that redeemed the place in my book. The inside looks like an old bookstore, some might find it quaint and appealing but I can see some people thinking it looks like an old rundown bookstore. I will probably come get tea there a lot, but will stay away from the food.

Kind of a "hidden gem" downtown. Wonderful food with plenty of vegan & vegetarian options. Great coffee selection. Always something going on in the evenings from open mics to tango lessons. Something for everybody.

I spent a total of about 4 hours browsing in Webster’s and came out with two bags full of books. After checking online used book stores and doing the math, I saved $79.74. The selection was great. I got some classic books for as low as $1 each and even recent hardcover books that look brand new were around $5-8. The employees looked happy to be there and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. The whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming and there is always good music playing in the background. I would recommend Webster’s as a place to stop for anyone walking downtown.

Very cozy and quaint place to sit and get work done! They also make a pretty good coffee. Sat down on a Sunday afternoon, and they had a live duo playing some light 5-bar blues music.

Was refused help by staff. I asked for a manager and was told there was none. Was told to come back tomorrow
