Irvings Bagels

Think of it like Panera but local...and fresher...and better...and more welcoming. The staff are friendly and are willing to make accommodations and substitutions. They have a nice selection of smoothies and shakes as well as some delicious hot sandwiches served on their homemade bread and bagels. Try their grilled cheese on rye! There's a good variety of comfy places to sit and eat, including downstairs with lots of space to move around. They have an emphasis on fresh and natural ingredients. Best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bagels are amazing. A must stop anytime you’re in state college. And the staff is friendly and hard working. We were there Sunday after a home game and they were nonstop hustling.

This place is certainly interesting. It's quite hip. They definitely do have a lot of bagels and stuff but they did run out of everything bagels, so that was strange. I had a grilled cheese and it was alright. Definitely a solid 7.5/10. Too much crunch. Their smoothie was pretty good! Perhaps their bagels are better!

Chai latte is the best and also had papaya tropical smoothie which was awesome wish they had one near me

I’ve been to Irving’s twice now and they are some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had! Crispy and chewy and everyone working there is always working so hard to keep the busy lines moving!

Very surprised at the quality - I had a tomato basil bagel with herb cream cheese and it was so flavorful!

Amazing for grabbing something real quick or even staying in and have coffee with bagels! It has various options to choose from and most of them were pretty good. My favorite thing is the cup size for the iced drinks it will satisfy you for sure!! + this huge cup is cheaper than regular sizes in other shops!

Yum!! Great everything bagel and delicious herb cream cheese. I’m a huge fan of the dill!

bagel was barely toasted
they literally used one egg
avocado was clearly going bad
they gave me raw onions and spinach… when it should be sautéed.
