wonderful place to have lunch and/or coffee. They have many different rooms, giving you privacy should you want it, and also helps it not feel crowded like you're just in a big room. Very cute, older home. The staff found me, and brought my delicious smoked salmon quiche. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

In a world where mediocre is acceptable and a Starbucks sits on every corner Symposium proudly pushes back and reminds us what a coffee shop can be. A meeting place, a conversation starter and a reminder that baristas and hosts can share the same name.
Plus, they serve alcohol so it's my low key bar at night and coffee stand in the morning.

Symposium coffee always delivers. Their staff, product mix including whiskey selections and community support are always top notch. I frequent the Tigard store often and appreciate the owners commitment to serving quality as well as great customer service. Their presence in both Sherwood and Tigard is greatly appreciated and a huge addition to both cities downtown environments!

They have great coffee and great pastries (and also since gluten free ones I've heard are good!). I love the atmosphere here and as a bonus, the owners are morally sound people. Big thumbs up!

Very cozy even for COVID restrictions. The owner just happened to be leaving as I spoke to the "Chief of SPD" when he introduced me to him. He was very nice. I admit I was a little nervous, it's always somewhat of a challenge to be the only POC at certain businesses, but the staff & owner in fact made me feel welcomed. I will be back for another great! cappuccino

The whole place smelled like that terrible old and moldy coffee smell. The tables have an antique charm that means they are extremely unconfortable and kind of useless as they are completely slanted. I've heard wonderful things about this place, but apparently they've gone down hill a bit lately. The staff was nice and the atmosphere relaxing, but I'll stick with my local favorite coffee shop from now on.

Warm, comfortable atmosphere in well cared for old home. Lots of indoor seating, as well add outdoor seating in good weather. The chocolate pumpkin bread was delicious and coffee amazing! They made their syrups -house.

Great coffee place very different from your usual Starbucks type atmosphere. Lots of high school aged kids, but also young adults perhaps college bound types Christian oriented and often a youth gathering center or study hall. Great sandwiches homemade! Hours are different on Sunday. Friendly staff and owners, another location in Tigard.

Cute, quaint coffee shop in Old Town Sherwood. Don't know how long it's been in business, but looks like a beautiful, older, two story home that was converted to this charming little bistro.
Intimate, cozy tables and chairs... Or even cozier oversized leather chairs. Nice, laid back, small town place for coffee, cold drinks and a fresh baked pastry.
