Symposium Coffee

Relaxing jazzy music (Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday) in a converted 2 story house with wood flooring. Quiet atmosphere, locals will engage you in small talk as if you are an old neighbor if you are looking for that, or you can sit back on a wood bench or a leather chair by a window and simply listen to the world stretch before you. Inviting covered porch if you prefer the outside. I asked for a mocha that "was more slightly sweetened coffee rather than sugary cocoa," and I received a nice subtle drink that delivered. Parking is also easy.

Excellent coffee with friendly service as always. Someday I'll have to try out the whiskey bar too. There's some interesting looking ones I've never had.

Haven't been there in a while, remembered the coffee being tasty. However this changed, pretty sour tasting coffee now and I hated it. My wife who'd been there sometimes said she thought so too when she was there the last two times.
I'm cured for a while...

This place was absolutely great and has a super good coffee. I also love their goodies and their burger was a perfect match with the coffee. The service was great and good customer service.

Coffee not fancy but tasty. All the baked items are gluten free hence expensive. Cute location. I would recommend to gluten intolerant friends and relatives.

Yet another 5 star experience, although I always wish the coffee was just a little hotter than it is (even when I request it extra hot). However, the people and the taste of the coffee make up for it.

Such a cute coffee shop. The staff is always nice and they make their drinks with so much love. I really like seeing their foam art when I go.

I haven't had a rose and lavender late since we left Michigan in November. Thanks for the great late! I felt a little less homesick. We'll definitely be return customers!
