Amazing coffee, got an americano with vanilla and heavy cream. If a coffee shop can make that drink well, it's got good coffee. The inside is so cute and inviting, and outside are fire pits and lots of seating. I'll definitely be trying a boozy coffee next time! The barista was so friendly and kind, loved the atmosphere.

Awesome little coffee shop!
Was in Sherwood for the day and needed to pass some time before a friends wedding. Glad I chose to go to Symposium.
Very friendly and receptive staff. Was greeted and served my drink promptly.
I judge a place by it's drip coffee, and they serve an excellent cup. Very good tasting notes on their medium roast where you can tell they know what they're doing. They also feature a wide variety of sandwiches and breakfast items that looked and smelled excellent.
And gotta love the atmosphere/vibe/decor of this place! Just really cool and homey. Lots of outdoor seating if you want, and a great cozy upstairs loft where I was able to tuck away for a while and get work done. I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

Love the atmosphere and the coffee is wonderful! It is always a treat to come out to Sherwood for a cup of coffee from them. Don’t miss out on checking out the upstairs also. Upstairs is nice to get away from the draft from the door and chat with friends.
Side note: They have their own parking lot so no need to try and find street parking.

Always love Symposium coffee, especially since they carry Smith teas which are the BEST - we don't all what to drive downtown to restock :) My husband always loves to get their beans - they always have new flavors! As for food, it is your standard coffee shop food - w/ gluten free options. Never disappointed here!

While I patronize chains, I will go out of my way for a spectacular independent facility like Symposium. We stayed a block away in late 2014 when we were planning our move to the area and we were favorably impressed. We did not settle in Sherwood, so a visit was a treat. I had a cold-brew vanilla latte and a quick gulp of bohemia. I'll be back whenever I can.

A great local coffee shop. Friendly owners and staff, contemporary house with fun little areas to stay and chat, both inside and outside. They make a great homemade chai and have good London Fog’s as well.

This is a high end sprlecialty coffee shop that puts Starbucks to shame. They have great service, the owners and staff are very knowledgeable. Best of all, they have a great selection of Scotch, whiskey, and other aged liqueurs.

Good coffee and nice space to work/study. There's an airy upstairs area and outdoor patio with fireplaces. Weekend nights have poetry readings and they also serve alcoholic beverages.

One of the best cappuccinos I have ever tried. Great place at a nice location.

Great little coffeehouse in Sherwood. They make an excellent traditional cappuccino and have in house syrups with unique flavors. And yes, they serve whiskey too!!
