After being in self-lockdown for the last year and only having Starbucks beans at home to make our daily coffees, it was a real treat to have a dopio from Water Ave. Coffee. The taste was a delicious sweet and just a hint of bitter that made the shots taste so darn good.
The staff was pleasant enough but not truly inviting.
If you're in search of a great espresso, you should include Water Ave. on your list of places to visit.

Good coffee. Didn't care for the vegan pre roll. The pumpkin cookie was AMAZING though and I highly recommend it. I've never been so content spending 2+ dollars on a small cookie. I got a macchiato (meant to get iced but did not 🤣 my own fault) and it was very good. And my husband got a cold brew. We also brought home the canoe blend and it is delicious as well. Used it to make cold brew and it is just perfect.

I really enjoy this place. It’s in an industrial setting, but has some warmth about it. It’s very bright, lots of easy places to sit with a laptop (or not), and good music playing. Outdoor seating. Very friendly and helpful staff, REALLY good coffee and lattes. Will try some food next time, the menu look great.

Seasonal rose hibiscus latte was so good! Breakfast burrito and sandwich both solid. Good vibes, cool people, chill music.

One of my favorite coffee spots in the city, delicious little pastries & espresso served by extra sweet people. It's a nice place to bring a friend and hang out, or to sit by the window and zone out while you watch traffic go back and forth over the bridge.

The pinot noir beans from Water Ave are to die for. They are more costly than usual bags but well worth it. When we were there last year in August they also had a coffee pop that was interesting and tasted surprisingly good.

The bergamot mocha was fabulous!

A cozy space to refuel with great coffee and delicious sweet treats. An absolute plus: cake served on a real plate and coffee in a mug, cold brew in a real glass!

In my opinion, Water Avenue, Heart, and Bluebottle are the same caliber: OUTSTANDING. The S’Mores mocha is one of their signature offerings and is 100% authentic (even a scratch made marshmallow) and delicious.

Aaron and Lu straight kill the game at Water Ave, so much love and intention in the cup, we will certainly be back for more!
