11-11: 4.0 out of 5 - Came in after a group run. The staff are nice, the place is clean, and the prices seem to be fair. The coffee was good and the food was tasty. Can be a little noisy when the train comes by, but it's a train... what do you expect, right?
If you haven't done so, give Water Avenue Coffee a try and decide for yourself. Enjoy!

A beautiful speciality coffee shop in the heart of Portland, Oregon.
I tasted some super sweet espresso from Rwanda 🇷🇼 and also tasted a delicious espresso.
The place is rather spacious and in the back I discovered their shop roaster.

If you are ever stuck at the railroad tracks just park and grab a quick breakfast sandwich or coffee here, that's what I did! Found this spot randomly and decided to give it a try, I had the Spicy Avocado sandwich. My sister ordered the Classic WAC with avocado. We loved the sandwiches! Super good, fresh ingredients, lightly toasted bread and flavorful! Overall, cool industrial interior, yummy breakfast sandwiches and quick service.

Excellent latte and hot chocolate. Lots of seating space. You can buy bags if roasted coffee beans and branded swag. Staff was friendly and service was quick.

I don’t usually go out to drink coffee - but was in a snap for some espresso. Staff was kind and busy, so I wanna assume it was a fluke in technique, but my shot of espresso was unbelievably sour - probably a temperature issue, but regardless, I barely got it down. Just a heads up in case you’re dropping by for a quick shot on a busy morning. Maybe grab a black coffee instead?

Had a great cortado and the breakfast burrito. My partner enjoyed the yogurt bowl with homemade granola. She also has the cold brew with sassparilla and really enjoyed. Chill spot and cool industrial area with vintage furniture shops nearby.

Great Scott!
Had the mushroom arugula melt that is apparently the seasonal vegetarian special, and my mouth has never been more in love.
If anything, my biggest regret is that I did not order two because now they are closed and all I want is another bite.
Great beer selection, super friendly service(makes this place a return trip already), and really tasty looking cocktails are telling me I'm coming back- and soon.
Oh yeah, would have a great picture of the sandwich, but I accidentally ate the whole thing.

S'mores mocha was delicious! Tastes as good as it looks! Seating is limited. If you want something cozy this is not the place but more of a place to go.

Warm drinks that are made on the spot. Great sound system plays interesting music. There is a old wooden canoe hanging inside that looks pretty neat. Location is great, just a block east of the Willamette River. The restroom requiring a code to enter is in the hallway and is shared with the other buisnesses on the first floor. Great espresso or chai tea, and the pastries are made in house.
