A hidden gem. This place has a certain something that keeps me coming back even if I live on the other side of town. The service makes you feel like you are in a land far away and being showered with sincere kindness. Joe is happy to give suggestions based on your preferences and is willing to adjust the menu and work with you. That StarB shop has nothing on the best coffee shop in Portland. Rain or shine this is the place to go for a warm drink. Love the sahlep, rose nectar, and the hot chocolate that’s out of this world...#anauthenticexperience☕️💙
It's a cute little Egyptian run " coffee shop " in a repurposed double decker bus. Nice customer service with unique beverages and food options. (A nice change of pace from your usual coffee shop that sells generic mochas). Each beverage is unique in its own way, with a middle eastern flare. The wait time on a Saturday morning to sit down was long, and The food was slightly lackluster, but overall a relaxing experience.
Coffee was amazing and unique. Staff was helpful and efficient. The place is super cute though a little tight. Overall though love this place. Cardamom is a great thing in coffee.
Rose mocha with a little extra rose if you take it sweet: heaven in your mouth. Entirely outdoor seating in a hollowed out double decker bus, decked out in Egyptian swag. Great place to hang.
As a friend and neighbor, oh my god, passing this place by is a total mistake. I’ve been craving the cozy apple cider chai since Joe predicted that I was about to order it the other week. They are the sweetest most integrative people at tov, and one of their baristas literally ran my drink over to me at work yesterday!! Best double decker bus cafe ever!
The mocha selection is sure to be a unique Portland experience for any visitors. I enjoyed my winey Mocha with extra chocolate. It is a bit chilly for rainy fall weather, but they do switch on the heaters. Fun place to visit and have a chat or play a board game! Don't forget to try the Turkish coffee, too!
I haven't had Egyptian coffee in a long time and this place really hit the spot. Had coffee, sahlep, and a mocha that was absolutely great. Some great space upstairs and it's warm even on a chilly day! Very welcoming.
