The most "Portland" thing you can do and they serve the best spiced lattes ever. alternative milks are an option here! If you get there earlier than brunch time (like between open and 9) you can enjoy your beverage on the bus without the crowd.
This place doesn’t need another good review, but I wanted to be #600. Super friendly staff with great tasting coffee. It’s a super unique atmosphere too and should definitely be on your list!
Coffee in a double decker bus, so much fun! Came in a sunny Saturday and there was a sign that they were closed for a few minutes to catch up on drinks, came back and there was a line. Worth the wait though! Drinks were really good.
Cool, quirky ambiance and delicious speciality drinks at Tov Coffee and Teas. I visited this location with a friend while in Portland last year, one of the most unique experiences and I'm so glad she suggested it. We sat on the second deck of the bus and enjoyed our drinks on a very rainy spring day.
This is a really unique and fun location for Egyptian coffee and tea. It features traditional Egyptian culture different than the classic stereotype. It is placed in a big red bus,, where the roof top is decked out in couches, fun fabrics, and tables. The walls are lined with Egyptian historical pictures. Now onto the drinks...Joseph has created a menu that reminds me of the street drinks in Egypt. One of the featured drinks is Sahlap, which is a hot, milky drink with cinnamon and pistachio that is found throughout the Middle East...perfect for a cold day. This is the only place in Portland with sahlap so far. Karkadea is a iced, sweet hibiscus drink. All the drinks are fresh and amazing!!
Update: we miss the sahlab from this place, the owner prepares the mix used to make the hot and tasty drink.
I love this place. The Egyptian coffee and the mint thing are 🔥🔥🔥. cool concept, cool vibe, and consistently great service. Like, who wouldve thought to add mint to cold brew? like would that even taste good? you bet its good!!! Its great, cause I can come here all year round, in the winter I get the Egyptian Coffee and the Sahlep, and in the summer i get the Mint Thing and the Karkady.
Since sitting down here I have read a lot of the 1 star reviews… this place is amazing and everything we ordered is absolutely delicious! Service has been extremely friendly and quick. I don’t see where someone could have anything to complain about! We will definitely be coming back!
This coffee bus is one of “the” places to see in Portland. Amazing coffee, lattes and teas. I tried the Egyptian coffee, which was served in this beautiful hand-crafted tea set, the entire ritual to drink it was explained by our server. It was strong and so aromatic. My husband had the rose mocha, amazingly thick and creamy. We sat on the upper deck and the entire Saturday morning vibe was so good. will definitely return. Oh and they also give turkish delight with their egyptian coffee.
It was a great coffee experience. I have never came back the same coffee shop back to back. However, TOV has changed that. I came first time for trouble with the cops with oat milk and it was amazing. The second day, I ordered rose lattes and it was amazing as well. Side note, Egyptian coffee cannot order Togo. They use a sand pit to heat up the coffee in the little metal tin. We also ordered the hibiscus tea and it was delicious and refreshing for a hot summer day.
