One of my favorite spots to get a cappuccino and a pastry downtown when I really just want to relax. Love the classic jazz vibe, wishing them absolute success, but hope it doesn't get to busy to enjoy!

Top tier coffee in downtown. The attention to every detail is superb - delicious homemade pastries available fresh every day (lemon scones are my favorite), the lattes made with Sterling-roasted beans are perfect, and the high ceilings and atrium next door complete the warm, airy feel.

Tight flavorful coffee. One of my favorite cappuccino stops on the way to work and they serve Oat-ly Barista Edition. Cool space in the historic New Market Theater building. Very consistent, and be sure to indulge in a lemon scone!

Nestled in a beautiful piece of Portland history this coffee shop offers charm and elegance. All the while remaining cozy enough for anyone entering it's doors.

A great place to sit and a cup,
I'll be back again.

This is the place to go when you need a break from everything. Beautiful, airy space in a gorgeously-restored building. Coffee and service more than meet those impressions as well. Highly recommend the loft seating area.

This is a great place to stop buy in the morning before work. Everything is made fresh daily, the owners are always smiling and greeting their customers warmly. I'm slightly addicted to the fresh squeezed orange juice and the ham and cheese croissants.

Treat yourself to wonderful tasty baked goods, made daily by the owners. Delicious coffee and other beverages, too. It's in a historic building in the oldest part of Portland--near the Skidmore Fountain.

Barista (I believe owner) was not happy when I asked restroom code upon arrival, asked me to buy a coffee first, I said im waiting for someone (business meeting) and would rather wait, she gave me the code. While I was waiting 6 days from christmas a downtrodden lady came in and asked for a cup of water, she was turned away saying we dont give out for free, when the lady took a paper cup from the counter (maybe to fill with rain water) she was yelled out of the shop by the barista. Lastly my appointment never showed, I wished her a happy holidays and went to leave and she stopped me saying, you use my bathroom, my chair and my wifi I need you to buy something. I didnt protest and asked for a small coffee, she proceeded to make me a medium and rang it up, I pointed this out, she said I didnt hear you and pushed the card slider forward. I paid and and asked her to keep spreading the Holiday spirit. Never going back.

This place is really great. Always the same friendly owner who consistently makes a great cup of coffee and delicious pastries herself. Love the warm bright ambiance of the place, highly recommend!
