This is a great coffee place near my work. The barista here is super friendly and quick with the drinks. I really enjoyed my iced matcha tea. They have a common area that you can sit and have a conversation at. This will be my go-to spot by work for future coffee meetings.

Friendly service. Absolutely amazing hot chocolate. Each coffee shop has a different tasting hot chocolate, and this one was among the best I've ever had! Aesthetically speaking, a coffee shop cannot look better than this one. The colors, the materials used in the interior, the building that it is located and the part of old town. Truly a beautiful experience just sitting down inside the cafe. The music was nice when I went in, it was like vintage blues and front-porch guitar blues. Each song had its own unique and old texture. It wasn't too loud, but was not quiet either. I would recommend visiting this place on your tour through Portland's unique cafes. Oh try the pastries too!

Unwelcoming and unpleasant experience. I came to this coffee shop after picking up a donut from voodoo. As I entered everything seemed fine, but boy the service was really off putting. As soon as I grab my drink, I was remind of the outside food policy, which I was aware of because it’s posted on the door. Regardless, I did not appreciate the tone and being reminded of it as I barely grabbed my drink. Now the drink itself was just terrible. The chai tasted wrong. Given the pricy, I expected more.

I came here for an industry related meeting (they let us host in their "atrium" area adjacent to their cafe) and I was really surprised how great the carafe of coffee was! Probably the best coffee I have had in quite some time! I also tried most of the baked goods- which are baked in-house each day!!! My favorite was the berry muffin. What a great coffee stop, I can't wait to add it to my rotation.

Thrilled to have stumbled upon this great little coffee shop in the Market Theater. I had my usual, a chai latte, which was perfectly adequate and on par with what I expect. The barista was warm, friendly, and conversational and invited me to take a look at the cafe loft which offers additional seating, some of which is in the form of oversized leather armchairs, perfect for enjoying a good book, or if you aren't careful, an unexpected nap. The space is gorgeous, spacious and airy and VERY well maintained. The barista informed me they had been open for three years but you would think they had just cut the ribbon. With plenty of seating and, in addition to the chai latte, what I can only assume is a continuance of a menu of well prepared and tasty beverages. Despite a fairly sparse selection of non-liquid offerings, (I much rather a place stick to one or the other anyway and do it right), there's plenty here to satisfy anyone you happen to bring along for a nice quiet conversation, out of the way, but not. I'll definitely be going back.

This coffee house is located in a beautiful building in downtown Portland! They make their own caramel sauce so I ordered a caramel macchiato! It was delicious! If you are in the downtown area, I highly recommend this coffee shop!

Cute, quaint, and unique find near the water. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Free WiFi and in my case, some welcome relief from a record heat wave during a trip.

Hands down one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to in Portland. The drinks are fantastic and service is wonderful. I love working in an office that is so close to this gem.

The barista is so nice and quick. The handmade pastries she makes every day are amazing.
