Marino cafe is right next to my office on 41st and Division so I'm in there all the time and love the place. The owner Dario is a great guy. He's usually out front of the shop drinking cappuccino and talking with all kinds of folks. They are proud of their cappuccino, and it really is the best around. The baristas are all wonderful and know the regulars by name.

Nice people working here and they do have live music at times. The area has good street parking opportunities. I hear the coffee options are pretty well done here such as Turkish coffee.

Quaint, mom and pop style decor and a crowded floor plan make this place a bit of a throwback in today's world of post-modern cafes (Stumptown, Heart, See See) but the coffee is great and the service was friendly. May go up to 5 stars if the live music there is worth checking out.

Living in Italy as a young man spoiled me on cafe culture, and I have been hard pressed to find one that resembles the ones I knew in Europe. Marino's is exactly that European style cafe. Everything about it has European ambience and a great place to feel like you are in Europe as you enjoy a cappuccino or Italian soda and one of the many delicious desserts. This is the go to place for a unique cafe experience and an authentic taste of Europe.

This cafe is a great place to unwind and hang out among Adriatic European type customers. It's really refreshing to be around people from the cultures that frequent Marino

I can't say enough good things about this place and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. It's literally the best place in Portland to study or just hang out. The coffee is just AMAZING every single time and so is the staff.

This is the spot! For all you avid coffee drinkers, here you go! We shared a turkish coffee and I had a brekfast sandwich and my friend a Greek bagel, so good! And the staff...so friendly, went out of their way to talk to us. Why did I wait so long to visit, afterall, they've been open for 12 years!

Truly the best place to get your coffee! They also have tea and smoothies and lots of sweets so that's always a bonus. The workers are super friendly and can make you just about anything upon request.

That was one hellava cappuccino. Actually, a few hellava good cappuccino's! Panini was tasty and grilled just right. Next time I come back to Portland I will make sure to come back. Dario, the owner, was very personable with all the patrons, spending a moment to talk to each customer. The server lady was awesome, had gorgeous eyes and an excellent disposition. Good vibes, spent a few hours here sitting and catching up with friends. Definitely worth it to stop in and check it out.
