Courier Coffee

This place is definitely Portland in nature. Used to be a nice neighborhood but obviously Portland is facing some difficult times ahead. If you can catch them open the experience is worth the trip. Always sort of militant in nature, cluttered and boxy. Always something to see on the streets.

Delicious latté. Excellent flavor. Well executed. Definitely needs a higher rating than 4.6. Indulge in the fresh pear muffin if you have the opportunity.

Their "dining" area isn't as big as it used to be, but their Japanese offerings are amazing! (I can't speak for the coffee as I'm not a big coffee drinker, unfortunately.) I had their dango and futomaki (fat sushi roll recently. Oishii~!

Best iced vanilla latte I have ever had. They make their own vanilla syrup and use vanilla beans. Delicious!

best coffee in pdx. by a mile. come here for an espresso based drink and stay for the shave ice by soen, which is only open weekends.

A great little small coffee shop. Staff are nice and it's kinda a hole in the wall, so to speak. The coffee is good and not very expensive at all (*cough cough* Starbucks) Note that there are no wall outlets to plug in your laptop to.

Excellent coffee and excellent baked goods. Just not a lot of space inside, so plan on sitting outside if it's busy.

This is a wonderful little coffee shop. I didn't even know it was here. The staff is amazing and watching the care and precision of my barista making my almond milk hot chocolate by melting real chocolate first and mixing small amounts of almond milk until completed. It was amazing. Oh and the baked custard was fabulous.
