Horrible service. Slow. Possibly Racist; Saw two tables of colored patrons left with empty tables for over an hour after ordering, while white patrons who came in later were served immediately. Burnt eggs too.

Excellent breakfast special biscuit and gravy two eggs hash browns a slice of ham and a coffee I think for ten bucks even. wait and it was delicious. Great start to my memorial day weekend. Thanks again. I wish I had a pic but I ate my food too fast..

**Update. Since this review I was contacted by a person who is associated with this establishment. They have apologized for the service we received that day. The fact they took due diligence to reach out shows a willingness to strive for better customer service and would definitely warrant a second chance.**

Just went in for breakfast. Waited 25 minutes and no one as much as said hi. Watched as they walked past us 4 times and never even acknowledged us. 2 parties that arrived there AFTER us got served. Watched as one customer finally got tired of waiting for a coffee refill and just went behind the bar and had to ask for one. Then just went and got her own sugars. The server was at the bar directly across from where we were sitting so I know she could see us. We were never greeted, no menu no waters it was like we didn't even exist. Watched 2 other tables get completely ignored. There's no excuse for not at least stopping and letting the customer know you'll be with them eventually. But to completely ignore 3 tables like this is absolutely shameful.

Great food and a fun atmosphere

We stopped here on our way to Portland and it did not disappoint! The breakfast was amazing! Portions were great and the price point was so good. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely a must if you happen to be in the area. Heads up though, when we went cash was easier for the restaurant side, so please be mindful of that.

Went for an early breakfast before I hit the road. Only thing open that had dine-in (outside on the sidewalk). Country pace of life, slow down and enjoy the ride. Don't expect to be the center of attention. They definitely take care of the loyal customers first, as it should be, but they'll get around to you. Be patient. Food is standard comfort food you would find in the South.

The locals remind me of home me and making the "coffee clutch" rounds with my grandpa as a kid. A bunch of "crusty old guys" who sit around and BS about politics and stuff happening in town. You've got to be a bit thick-skinned, but they seem like decent folks. That's how you networked back in the days before the internet. Locals obviously like to check out the new people in town and get a feel for them, but the way they said hi made it feel like I was welcome to join the conversation, or eat in peace, if I wanted to.

This is a cash only establishment. The food was excellent and the servers were friendly. It has a pleasant atmosphere.
That being said, I cannot give a cash only establishment more than 3 starts unless there is a good reason for it to be cash only, like there is zero electricity or internet or it's a yard sale. It's 2021. Being able to use a card is super standard and super super easy. As far as I could tell they have no excuse. They have an ATM in the building(demonstrating electricity and a network connection) that tacks on an extra 3 bucks for every transaction with a max withdrawel of $100. Not a big deal, just inconvenient.
Despite long waits and a mixed up drink order I really liked the place until I went to pay. Having to make multiple withrdrawels from the ATM for dinner for my crew and a receipt that was written in pen on order sheets took that other star away.
