Rainbow Cafe

We sat for well over 40 minutes for our breakfast food. When it came it was undercooked in some areas, overly greasy, burnt, completely under seasoned in most of our meals and over salted in a few partitions of our meal. When we were there they had partially cooked or just un-cooked bacon hanging in a pile over the grill on top of egg cartons without being preserved in any way! We left with very upset and disgusted stomachs to the point of queasiness.

They did not accept debit or credit and had an ATM with a 3 dollar fee, which would be fine if the meal was worth the cost but it was nowhere near.

Not recommended in the slightest.

So happy that the legend will live on, bar tender was busy and top notch. Drinks were stiff and well priced. Spot on

Good food. Only difficulty was being told they weren't serving breakfast at 11:30 AM on Sunday and the menu said until Noon.

Excellent local place. Rainbow chicken is good. So is fish and chips. Portions are large. Side salad is very good. A nice local IPA is available on tap. Place has been in operation for over 100 years and the decor displays some of the quirkiness of a long tenure. Nice staff. Open late, even on Sunday. Very much recommended.

Excellent food! Was kind of thinking that the service was a bit of slow until I thought to myself..... I'm in a small town in a relatively busy little hometown cafe on a very relaxed Sunday morning.....after taking a deep breath realized that life was good and this was a great place to be. Thanks to Betty and her crew!

Crazy busy Breakfast/Hangover crowd but the solo bartender Kaylin (sp) handled it like a boss!! She had to deal with some really sh!++× attitudes but maintained! (I don't think I would have handled it as well!) Great Blood Marys and Breakfast...just do a drive thru if you want instant breakfast!!

I absolutely love this place. They have the best food. Let it be breakfast or lunch. I would say dinner too but my family and I have only been there for breakfast and lunch. My kids love the blueberry pancakes and I'm a big fan of any of their breakfast items and they have the best club sandwich I've ever had.

Drinks priced very reasonable. They now accept credit cards!!!

I loved this bar before i expierienced a Homophonic patron kick me out of bar while the owner sat with her tail between her legs saying nothing. What a joke he spent extra unnecessary time, energy and effort to have is kicked out of bar for bringing in a closed box of pastries from the bakery next door. We live close to downtown so we walked and bakery was closing so

Just passing through on family vacation. Took a gamble and ate here for dinner. So glad we did! Our meals were delicious. We ordered take out, so can't comment on dine-in service, but service for take out was very friendly. The food was excellent! Highly recommend Rainbow Cafe!
