100% about the atmosphere. Food is extremely basic, barely bar food level, with plastic silverware and paper plates. About as dive bar food as you can get. BUT the atmosphere makes me want to go back over and over. It's very comforting to relax in a place where the entire bar has cowboy hats and boots and the place looks like it has forever. Don't go there for the food, grab a beer and hang.

Food is really good, nice ambience, convenient location, bench seats in the booths are super uncomfortable, short-staffed so it takes you a little while from sit down to out the door.

Food service not just slow, but so epic slow you just want to leave screaming to cut your losses. Cafe less than 1/3 capacity during my visit and 1 hour plus for a simple breakfast order. This has happened twice, so not again. However, still good for a cold domestic draft or well drink.

Since we moved two months ago, into Pilot Rock we have gone to the Rainbow π cafe now several times for weekend Breakfast. We love the reasonable Serving amounts , along with very reasonable prices... the food is ππΏ great. My husband usually gets only the biscuits and Gray(the Geezer) I have tried many items. Today I am thinking maybe try the blueberry pancakes w/ 2 eggs,& potatoes, w/ side of ham.?..

Racist infested cafe!! Ordered for take out, said they would be βright on itβ waited about 20 minutes before going in and my husband was still was the last person to be taken care of. Those dining in were catered to first. Everyone staring the whole time but not wanting to help out. 100% would not recommend coming here!!! What an uncomfortable feeling π

The rainbow chicken really might have been the best broasted chicken ever. Inexpensive drinks and very reasonable prices on the menu. Cool and funky Western themed but real Western, not a pretend Western setting. I'll stop every time I'm hungry in Pendleton.

Took my husband there for lunch. We sat for about 15 minutes. The person taking orders was to busy putting booze away. Finally she took our order and we waited for about 20 minutes before we got our food. The guys that brought our food was very nice. I had ordered a milk. Got it after I was done with my meal. Go to pay and get told cash only. I was told there was a atm on the wall. Ok so I go to use it and its out of order. So I had to leave my husband there while I went to the bank. Will never go back.

Old witch lady put a spell on me and made my food take an hour. I ordered a bloody Mary it came it in a kids cup. No veggies. No alcohol some how. 1/10 would never go again. Ps hunter also says bread squeezer does nothing in the back.

If you want a real western bar experience and good cafe food, here you go.
We had great service, even though very crowded.
Great bacon and eggs, cooked to perfection, served on paper plates, LOL.
The western decor was very old and interesting.
Now in the evening it is wall to wall drunken Cowboys from the Rodeo.
