Take a step back in time at the Rainbow. Good food and an atmosphere that reflects the strong ranching history of Pendleton.
Always a good recommendation when you see many local ranchers coming in for breakfast.
Fantastic memorabilia on the walls.
Definitely worth checking out. 👍🏻
(Service was really slow the day we were there...dinged 1 star)

Large portions of food. Servers professional and people who frequent this establishment are generally very kind and family oriented. Good conversation and cheerful attitude with majority of customers being elderly. Good vibes a home cooked meal type of feel. The food and atmosphere overall was and has always been a pleasant experience for myself and my guests. They also have great mimosas!

I have only had drinks while playing video slots..but always a welcoming feel when you walk in

The Rainbow Chicken really is as good as everyone says it is. Atmosphere is casual. Great for hosting out of town friends to show them a piece of local history.

An amazing example of classic, undervalued Americana. This place has been around since the 1800s. Don't miss its wonderful portions and western style. These are the cultural institutions that form the backbone of American settlement in the west. Come and experience a cultural and culinary institution in the wonderful town of Pendleton!

The service was just really weird here. There was an older gruff lady managing the entire bar and the bar seating. It was very hard to get service and she treated us like she was annoyed that we were there. I would have had at least one if not two more beers and I would have appreciated some water as well. The food was fine, just really deep fried greasy food. The ranch is really good! And the fries are good! The younger guy in the bar was much more personable and didn't make me feel weird.
