A nice gem, oceanside. Food was absolutely delicious, fully flavored. Seafood cooked, but not overcooked, prawns were juicy and tender with complimented flavors that enhanced and not overpowered. Fresh seafood, not briny. We did take out and the packaging was thoughtfully arranged. Service was super friendly and inviting. Ingot a tres Leche cake the night before. Eush they were opened for breakfasts/brunches. I bet they'd kill it with the menu and execution

Excellent clam chowder & beach view! Small facility, so arrive early for best seats. Halibut burger is also delicious. Prices are expensive, but to be expected with quality food and view. Desserts looked divine:)

This is pretty much the only restaurant in town. Long wait, but we got a nice seat looking at the ocean. Great views in here. I wasn’t super impressed with our diners. I felt like it needed some vegetables and the potatoes that came with it could have been prepped better. Just plain steamed potatoes on a $2x plate of fish. The fish was good. Clam chowder was best I had on my trip. 100% get it, so good.

What a find!! What a view!! For that I’m leaving six stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Must try clam chowder and crab cakes will leave you coming back for more! The cioppino is even better than most I’ve tasted. The adult beverages were quite tasty!! Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall perfect experience. I’m a loyal customer for life!! ❤️

Roseannas's Cafe (family business for over 35 years) consistently good service & food, especially seafood, burgers & sandwiches, famous for pies & cobblers, especially marion berry. Conveniently located in downtown Oceanside with ample off street parking, easy proximity to beach access, panoramic ocean views with the iconic haystack rocks.

I called to have dinner in my room. They were so pleasant and helpful on the phone. When I got there I’d wished I’d eaten in. Wonderful atmosphere and an ocean view. I will next time. Now for the food. Delicious! I had the clam chowder with a warm baguette and the halibut sandwich. Both were beyond excellent! I’ll be back for sure my next visit. Thank you staff! The order was under Jason and I want to thank you for a wonderful dinner.

Delicious chowder that I'll absolutely be back for. The biscuit in the marionberry cobbler was definitely the star of the night! Birthday dessert by the ocean, couldn't ask for more.

In my opinion this restaurant is capitalizing on the lack of restaurants in this area. The food was terrible, and EXTREMELY overpriced. My son ordered a salad and received old greens with tomatoes that were more white than red, large tomato just cut into quarters. I told the server it was bad and all she did was say sorry about that. Crab cakes were disgusting and the kids "meal" just means it has a pile of chips on the side.
The restaurant itself was very dated, smells very musty, we were seated at a window and had several flies buzzing around the entire time. But this was the only place open at the time of our visit.
Save your money and pack a picnic!

We ate here 2 nights in a row as we found out a lot of other people eat here multiple times. Great food, awsome sunset views. Highly recommend!
