I am taking the time to let you know this place. The brisket is rubbery. The food was cold after waiting an hour for it. When I went to the owner about some chips that were covered in mold. He dismissed me. No offer for a refund. No apology nothing. Warning. Don’t waste your money here.

Good prices, great food. Meat has a great smoke flavor. I'll be sure and stop in again next time I come through.

Came here about a year ago and forgot to leave a review. I do remember how it was though. My co workers were with me. They said they were generally happy with the food but we all agreed that more sauce would've been nice without being charged for more. The experience would've been better had the food not been so dry and just giving us a little more sauce really could've gone a long way...especially if you're suppose to be a BBQ place. It's what people expect when you're named that. I would come here again to mix things up but please use more sauces on the food without charging more for what is expected to already be there. You can sit down in the area to eat if you'd like (it's all outdoors) or take it home. The staff were polite and even had patients with me since I was taking forever to figure out what I wanted. Overall I'd recommend giving it a try at least once so you can see how you feel about them and see if they are taking customers advice.

New owners know what they are doing!!!
We have ate here 3 times in the past and this last time was wonderful. Ordered the smoked brisket sandwich and it was pilled high with meat. We will be back soon .

Wonderful BBQ! The brisket and pulled pork are always solid! Lunch deals are excellent value.

Got the pulled pork fries. Pork had good flavor. A bit dry. Did not see BBQ sauce on it. Asked for sauce. Was told to pay extra for extra sauce. Even though there was none to begin with. So, it was dry. Could not finish it. Disappointed. It probably just needed some sauce.

Everything was excellent from the service to the food. The gentleman manning the smoker was super friendly and gave us a lesson the the meat smoking process (aong with some samples). He also told us the young woman (early 20's) taking orders recently purchased the business. An impressive feat! She has got a great thing going. The food was amazing. We tried the Old Goat sandwich, a pulled pork slider and the nachos. Everything was delicious. My husband usually hates Cole slaw but he ate this. It isn't quick but it is 100% worth it. If you're traveling through Oakridge, make this a stop. You won't regret it.

I go out of my way and time my travels to stop by this place. The food is out of this world. Best onion rings anywhere. If you want a great sandwich on the go then the Old Goat is something I highly recommend. Just be patient since it appears to be a family run operation and they can be shorthanded but it's worth the wait.

Came to eat around 5 PM and ordered the sampler. The ribs were great, but the rest was inedible. Pulled pork was some of the driest I'd ever had and the bbq sauce was too thin to redeem it. Brisket was mediocre, but again dry. The fried sides were actually from the frozen aisle at WinCo foods and the ranch was from a bottle. The "chicken fritters" were actually just Tyson chicken strips that they charged us three dollars a piece for. To make matters worse, the meats we're all cold , the potato and Mac salad we're warm, and we both woke up in the middle of the night puking. Please fix this because we wanted to love this so bad.
