This place is a little strange if you've only experienced "city style" cafes/bakeries because this is more like a bakery/community center/craft fare fusion. They have a large parking lot, and the building itself is huge - only a fraction of it is devoted to the bakery. The rest of the building has items on sale made by local folks, and there was live music while we were there. There were definitely some locals just enjoying their afternoon there, and the bathrooms were surprisingly clean and smelled nice (considering they are right on the highway I would've expected more "wear and tear").

I was also pleasantly surprised by how dog friendly they are there. My dog was able to come inside and eat with us, which was very nice because it was a hot day out.

The food: a burrito and a veggie quesadilla were also very good - the salsa definitely was house made & was great. I will mention, as others have also brought up, the serve time was slow. I wasn't really paying attention because I was having fun looking around & the locals were busy petting my dog and talking to me. I also am from the country myself, so I just accept that "time moves differently out here", and I prefer the "slower lifestyle". So I was in no rush to get the food, and I'd rather have good food than fast food. If we ever drive through this area again, we're definitely stopping by.

Quaint yet rustic. Rustic yet detailed. Detailed yet hearthlike. Hearthlike yet quaint. And again! This is a happening place. Rather like a town hall for locals and visitors to drink coffee eat a frittata or a muffin, listen to live music performed by live people, engage in conversation with live people, ignore or embrace the outside world, or enjoy a performance "live onstage!". They enjoy and encourage a book exchange. Very friendly. Very welcoming. More please.

Cute little breakfast and lunch spot! We got a breakfast slider and a breakfast burrito. Very homey but really tasty! I got a vanilla latte and it was better than most I get in big cities. Make sure you’re ok to wait, though. This is a smaller town establishment and they aren’t able to get your food out at chain-restaurant speed

Had breakfast here. Burrito was really good and coffee was fantastic. Super cute community establishment with friendly staff and service. Had their buns with a burger at a different restaurant. Bread was really good.

Unique layout of the shop. Food was very tasty- esp the shrek sandwich, which was really filling and tasteful! The avocado and egg softly hug the sausage, smoothing out the saltiness and the cream cheese really adds to the flavorfulness. Bread toasted just right. Loved it!

Breakfast burritos are super yummy, very friendly staff. Lots of fun things to look at and live music on the weekends if you're lucky. This is a very spacious place with great natural lighting. A unique local bakery that supports artists, not a "big chain" restaurant feel.

Breakfast burrito and coffee are good. However $35 dollars for two breakfast burritos and coffees is a little wild.

Eclectic and interesting place with good food. The breakfast burrito and French toast were very good. The coffee is great. They have actual silverware, which I really appreciate. Blueberry scone is fantastic.

We stopped in for breakfast. Only place that was open for breakfast after 11:00 on Saturday. First time there. We ordered biscuits and gravy, the lumber jack, and the egg scramble. This is definitely not the place to go if you are hungry.Portions are child size. The biscuits and gravy were disappointing you would think that being a bakery that biscuits served would be exceptional. Not the case they were very small and dense. The gravy was like glue and didn’t even help to soften the biscuits to make them not chewy. The lumberjack breakfast would not even wet the Appetite of a working man. One piece of good but very small toast, two eggs, and about 1/4 cup of potatoes. Come on potatoes are cheap.
One piece of patty sausage. Then the scramble was good but small portion all in all about 1 and 1/2 cup of food. One small piece of toast for 10.00. Serve yourself coffee coffee pot was empty as was the cream and sugar. Because they were closing in 45 minutes they were not making more. With 4 people waiting for coffee. Ordered ice water as it was a hot day. Water came no ice and the water is not drinkable it even smells bad. I’m sorry we gave it a good try but will not do that again!!! Had to stop and get the guys hamburgers in cottage grove as the men were still hungry.

Kind of like eating breakfast in a thrift shop. Potatoes were way under cooked
