GoodBean Cafe

I’m a long-time customer, and I work with a lot of people in many public settings, and so I notice when people are polite or acknowledge the presence of other human beings. I try very hard to say “hi” or “good morning”, “good afternoon” or “good evening” upon greeting someone (even if I don’t feel good that day). With this in mind, I stopped by Good Bean this morning and the young lady didn’t greet me, but I’m always nice and said “good morning” anyway, however I didn’t get a response to this. I tipped her anyway. I didn't get a response to this kind gesture. I said “thanks”, yet again but no response. However, she was being chatty with the young male co-worker who was next to her. It was such a weird experience. I go to Good Bean regularly because usually it’s a positive experience, but this morning I felt like less of a long-time customer and more of a number. The weird thing is that I’m in such a good mood today & I wish I wasn’t wearing a mask so she could have seen my smile. Anyhow, I did Not take offense to her unprofessionalism, but I’m leaving this review as advice from one former barista to a current one—please be kind to your customers so they keep coming back and keep tipping.

Good coffee, great burrito and courteous service. Also, great atmosphere.

Nice coffee shop. A few loud religious ladies, but otherwise, a nice experience.

We stopped in for bagels and coffee late on Saturday morning. What a beautiful little cafe with its immaculately designed interior, it looks warm and welcoming. My hot chocolate was perfect with a wonderful cloud of whipped cream and cinnamon. We got the 3 cheese and rosemary garlic bagels. I loved the rounder shape and amazing flavors, especially of the rosemary garlic bagel. Their commercial toaster was just the right setting. We enjoyed our coffee, cocoa, and bagels on the patio. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and it wasn’t loud or crowded.

Good coffee, pastries but parking not so great

Generous portions and the food was good. Nice atmosphere. Downside is you have to order at the counter and then pick up your own food, and bus your own table. I had hoped being advertised as a cafe it would not be self service. But definitely would return when I was just wanting a quick type meal. They could easily change a few small aspects and this place would be five star.

Love their bagels! Coffee is great, and the customer service is wonderful. Just a nice place to get a cup of coffee.

I've been getting my coffee from Good Bean for years. The kids grind my coffee beans to perfection and make a pretty "Mean Bean Cold Brew" I go mostly to the N. Phoenix cafe and I think everyone there are courteous and smile when I go in. I would adopt them all if I could. Thx for such great coffee~ The Crazy Coffee Lady

Been here several time and usually the staff are very pleasant but today had the rudest person I have ever had here not sure I will come back I don’t really appreciate when leaving feeling unwanted when I am trying to bring you business. Really surprised as much as masks were being mandated that when our food was brought out the server didn’t wear gloves when delivering our food but shortly after I saw him deliver food to people next to us and now had gloves on.
Before leaving find out the employees name is Ky then as we are leaving I hear her cussing behind the counter. Might be time to review your employees

The homemade bagels are fantastic. Coffee was delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. Will be back again soon!
