Deschutes River Adventures

Fantastic outfit! We did the full day with them, which included a great lunch and a couple stops along the way like the natural water slide and other fun stuff. The river guides were a ton of fun, and the staff was friendly and patient while handling everyone signing up and wanting photos afterward. Great little coffee spot outside as well.

Dillon was the best guide ever. Super helpful and friendly and made the whole experience awesome. Should definitely request him if you plan on rafting with these guys. Would definitely recommend the full-day adventure on the river, it is incredible. Will be back.

Such an amazing and fun time! The guide we had (simon) was very fun and had a good sense of humor, they were all very helpful and fun and the adventure was very worth it!

Rented a raft and some gear for a 3 day trip on the Lower Deschutes over a long weekend. Everyone at DRA was super helpful and responsive. Kate and Andy were wonderful! They made our trip seamless with all the gear we were able to rent from them. They answered all our questions in a timely matter. The shuttle service was super easy and definitely worth the saved time. Highly recommend DRA!

Great tour of the DeSchutes River. Our guide was great. He has a wonderful attitude, good humored, and is incredibly knowledgeable of the rapids and points of interest. He was able to get us settled in to "surf" several eddies and currents along the way that other groups missed entirely. The front office staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and even offered to keep watch of our dog! Would love to visit here again.

Best whitewater rafting outfit in Maupin. The owners are outstanding and very helpful. Great shop that has everything available for your trip before you go. Very nice and new rafts and gear for rhe trip. Our guide was Garret, he accommodated us perfectly. We had one nervous new rafter and some experienced rafters. Had a blast while keeping our newbie safe and feeling comfortable but still hitting all of the rapids just perfect. Great outfit and highly recommend for all your Deschutes whitewater rafting trips. We have used a couple other companies and will be sticking with Deschutes River Adventures for all of our future trips. True professionals! Thank you guys!

We just got off an overnight trip and it was one for the books! Kate is organized and on top of it. All we had to do was show up. Andy is extremely knowledgeable of the river, with stories around every bend. He found us an awesome campsite for the night. The food was exceptional, as was the company. We had a sweet guide, Al, who took care of us and he has a really sweet mullet. I’m already booking an overnight with DRA for next year!!

We had excellent service during a three day rafting trip when we rented rafts from Deschutes River Adventures. Equipment was in good shape. Staff helpful in deciding which size raft to rent for our party and in changing rafts as the number in our party changed during the 3 day period. Also a big help in securing the necessary river permits. We liked doing business with them.
