Deschutes River Adventures

We did the half day trip and had a blast. One of the best rafting trips we've had. I do wish we can keep paddling instead of floating, and go through the easy part quickly and get to the exciting part faster. LOL. The guides were very experienced and knowledgable. The rapids were fun and exciting, especially when we went through the class III and IV ones.

Best time ever! Safe, fun, exciting! We are going to make it an annual trip.

What an epic White-Water Rafting trip on the Deschutes River with an awesome guide (Jody), super fun rapids and beautiful views! We had a BLAST!!! The guide was extremely fun and knowledgeable about the river and it’s history and knew every square inch of it. He went over and above making our 9 year old daughter feel comfortable for her first time and ours💥 So worth it and so much fun! An unforgettable experience! All of us had such a good time.

This was our first rafting trip with the whole family, it's going to be our new yearly tradition. Lots of fun, and we were lucky enough to have Dawson as our awesome guide.

I loved our rafting adventure from start to finish. The entire staff focused on the customer experience, which was to come back whole, healthy, and have a seriously good time. Even the bus ride was a build up to getting on the water. I loved the made up stories, the jokes, and the feeling that if the river tossed me into the water, I was in safe hands. I'm ready to go again and when I do, I'm not shopping around. It's all Deschutes River Adventures for me.

I was shocked by this company. Not only was the river experience everything we hoped it would be, but the guides had a knowledge and a joyful camaraderie that made the experience above and beyond. To be fair I am pretty sure that you can not go wrong in Maupin, they have a river culture of rooting each other on I have not experienced anywhere! When we came back the next day to run it solo in our Kayaks all of the river guides were looking out for us, calling out swimmer when one of us got knocked out of our raft and cheering us on when we rallied through some of the popular rapids like box car. We had some great memories made here. If you have an opportunity to have Jody as your tour guide you won't be sorry, he is a Rockstar and will show you what's up on the Deschutes!

FANTASTIC!!! We lined this trip up with Kate, who was infinitely patient as our plans/dates/numbers changed a few times. So friendly and helpful. And the trip itself was just perfect. We did the 1/2 day with Jody...full of sunshine, adventure and fun rapids. Jody was calm and confident and it's evident how much training goes into this to make sure people have a blast while staying safe and respecting the river. Thank you for the great memories. Hope to take another trip with y'all again!

We went with a large group of 40+ people from university of Oregon. We contacted them ahead of time and they were super flexible with us having such a large group and renting up most of their boats and guides. Could not recommend them anymore! We have done this rafting trip with the group of guys from school for a few years now, and are looking to start planning multiple next year instead of 1 because of how much we love it. The guides know how to have a great time with us, while also ensuring we do so in a safe way. We were welcomed by the super friendly staff, quickly given the safety rundown and then we hit the river! The route we went had a great variety of small rapids to get everyone warmed up, and then some much bigger and exciting ones. There is also some very calm spots along the river that are great for hopping out and swimming with the approval of your guide. They are incredibly knowledgable of the river, knowing exactly where to go in every spot. Ask them to let you ride the bull down some of the rapids and you will not be disappointed! Be ready to get wet!
